Unless the music is sufficiently loud to cause damage to hearing of bystanders, or structural damage to surrounding buildings, you'll more than likely get arrested for wasting the cops' time.

I almost went unanon because of how stupid I think you are.

If you live in the US (which most people here do), like 99% of places have "Noise Disturbance" laws. Basically if you are doing something very noisy that bothers someone else, they can call the law on you.

Obviously, you don't call 911 but you call your local police number. You give the address and the cops go by. If they hear the disturbance they will talk to the people and tell them need to turn that shit down. They rarely arrest anyone (unless the person is belligerent or something else is happening).

If it continues, you can call again. You won't get arrested for it because that is something you can legally call about.

This so much. No one else wants to listen to your music. Whether it is in your house, your apartment, your car, or on public transportation. Turn it down. You don't need it that loud to hear it.

Sometimes I wanna play my music loud.

I try not to do it ALL THE TIME and not when people are likely to be asleep.

I am fine with other people playing it too. Even with crappy taste.

I'm not in a "genteel" type location with the culture of people believing they have the right to be protected from how other people live.... in the minority of humans, by far. I live somewhere hot where the sound of reggae floats on the warm evening air...
