God. I'm always in this sort of relationship, on one side or another. (Funny, when I'm on one side I'm always wishing I was on the other one.) But you're right, it's not fun, it sucks, and I feel like I expend so much energy trying to get OUT of these sorts of relationships. Or to at least achieve some sort of equilibrium.
