Aha, I'm not sure my opinion is even valid here; I've used fanart as icons for RP journals when I couldn't find any screens/scans good enough expression-wise (though I ask for the artist if anyone knows?), but regardless. I still agree. Stop using Japanese cosplayers as your icoooons aksjdl. It's CREEPY.

27. Don't worry about it. Fandom in no way = real life. Unless you're one of those few batshit cases. But by being worried, I doubt you are. And for the record, Hiruma is pretty damn delicious.

65. I honestly can't imagine either of them taking the first step, unless it's by accident (and incredibly convoluted). If they somehow did, they'd have to keep it a total secret - something I think would exhaust Bertie after maybe two days. Also, Jeeves would never approve. (Also, I really am pretty sure Bertie's gay.)

I hate to burst a bubble, but JKR has said she could see it happening in different circumstances. Different means it wouldn't happen as the books are. So no, not canon.

However, it's sort of... semi-canon in a way? I mean, at least she acknowledged it. And this is coming from someone who doesn't even ship it much.

60. I've met him and he was very sweet. He hugged me and I felt bad because I was in the Texas heat for hours, dripping with sweat, so I said "I'm really sweaty!" And he said "That's ok, so am I" and gave me a bigger hug. =) This was years ago, shortly after their Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge cd came out, so he might have changed since then.

Don't be afraid to play an unknown!

I was, but one of my main characters is from a book almost no one in the game had ever heard of, in a big multifandom RP, and people really like the character. It took some work, but it was totally worth it.

Go for the obscure and the unknown - if the characters are good, and you don't mind a bit of work, it can turn out fan-fucking-tastic.

46. Howl is one of those things for me - every time someone talks about the movie I want to scream, "READ THE BOOK!" I don't, because the movie is really very good in its own right, but that only makes me want to do it MORE.

Obviously, not a secret. But as someone said above, the scarecrow in the book is actually Wizard Suliman and marries Sophie's sister. I think he does have elements of Prince Justin? And Justin gets married in the sequel in a kind of awesome way, so that might help. (Also, if you want to write it...write it. I'll read it, if you link me.)
