I'm surprised it listed Hux/Rey rather than Kylo/Rey. Hux/Rey is tiny and mostly just one part of Reylux.

(Can you imagine them going on a date to a nice restaurant and Hux having conniption fits because Rey doesn't know how to use silverware, or chew with her mouth closed? Lol.)

I wish I liked AUs as much as you, OP. I mean, I won't say no to a good one, but my true love will always be the as-close-to-canon-as-possible fics. Maybe it's just my imagination being lazy, idk.

I hear you, OP. I was hoping for fraky robot sex, but instead Genos always either already has a dick (ignoring that we've seen his dick-less naked body) or ~gets an upgrade~. I've found exactly one fic that doesn't give Genos a dick before sex, and I've been looking.

So many intersting things could be done with Genos cyborg body! Touching on your B!S, how about Genos gets a vagina as an upgrade? Or a female body in general. Saitama said he's not into dudes, it stands to reason he's not sexually attracted to dicks.

I personally agree with your feelings about magic and magic systems - I agree with them wholeheartedly and vociferously, to an almost ludicrous degree - but I'm not entirely sure about the idea of a fading interest in fantasy, let alone a fading interest that can be ascribed to one specific cause. I'd just need to hear more explanations about it.

Unless you just meant your own interest in fantasy is fading, in which case, I strongly sympathize and I also encourage you to explore fantasy outside of the modern epic fantasy mold.
