49: Speaking as an out fandom lesbian... come out! Note that the OP of that secret got STOMPED. People like that are in a tiny, tiny minority in online fandom. You're going to have a much easier time of it in fandom than IRL.

56: I don't see the appeal of sport, and that can be frustrating come World Cup time. But c'est la vie, right? Different people like different things, and that's okay.

27. I'm left-handed too actually, and i always find it interesting if i find out a character is lefthanded too. I'm not really sure why though :/ Maybe it's because the large majority of people/characters are right handed?

56: That something is popular doesn't mean that everybody will like it. Actually, I think the het part of fandom is still dominating (though a lot of it seem to consist of Suefic).

58: From halfway through, the anime is just a completely different story. I like the manga better, but I don't see why liking the anime better is such a bad thing. It's just a matter of story type preference, isn't it?

25~ Thank you so much for reminding me of this film! Wow, one of Robert Downey, Jr.'s absolute finest movies. I'll always adore the scene where the ghosts sing a favorite old song to the adult character to get him to remember them. What about you, OP?

Oh, the entire movie was brilliant...I'd say my favourite part off the top of my head is when they're all dancing around the bathroom when he's a little kid, and the principal walks in to him standing alone, shaking his butt. XD Wow, I haven't watched it in ages. The part that never fails to make me cry to this day is when they're leaving him the first time, and he starts crying, and as Milo (I think it was Milo) is fading, he gives him a thumbs up. I was maybe six, probably a year or two older when I saw it, and I just broke down. My mom was so shocked, because before that, I had never once cried about anything. I feel a bit foolish that the first thiing to make me cry was supposed to be a comedy (to add insult to injury, the second movie to ever make me cry was My Girl, which was also found in the comedy section of our Blockbuster. XD)

75.) I don't think you need to feel bad. Emotional dominance doesn't necessarily have to = sexual dominance (and vice versa). I've known more than a couple of 'strong women' who really enjoy stuff like that.

11. Have you tried advertising at various comms for a native speaker of English, who's also proficient in your language? Even if you don't speak a fashionable tongue, I find it hard to imagine that the vast internet fandoms will have no good amateur translators for your stories.

45. Ah, me too. Well, not the gay men so much. But every character I'm fond of seems to be a great deal older than me. Not just in PC games either - one could get around by arguing that, although the characters are supposed to be a certain age, the youthful writing teams are only capable of creating young men in older bodies - but it's the same with books and theatre. I don't worry about it. :) I'm happy crushing on admiring characters old enough to be my father.
