I'm assuming you're including yourself in that statement. Maybe you didn't have a phone and couldn't phone the police/take a video, but that doesn't mean you get to blame everyone else for not intervening.

Unless you saw it on video as part of a news report or something, you should've called the cops. Everyone should've called the cops. I'd wish you were trolling but this seems too specific to troll about. I hope the little girl is okay.

What do you do with a person who goes around telling people their harmless interests are "not okay", and is very harshly critical of others (like 'you're a piece of shit' harsh), bullying, but telling her to stop being a dickwad is an attack on her in her mind?

We have someone like this on our floor. Very obnoxious. Lots of reports to the poor RA when things don't go her way.

I have to contact a clinic and arrange an ultrasound and everything sucks. Knowing that breast cancer is really uncommon in women my age doesn't make it much less alarming, tbh.

Sorry to hear that, anon.

Even if it is the worst case scenario, treatment regimens have gotten so much more advanced in the last decade that generally people go in with very good prognoses. Try not to stress out too much (though I realize that's sometimes a tall order).

I hate the whole super OOC Hux versions fandom made up and seems to love so much and I hate the Lego Star Wars TFA game for introducing yet another annoying thing that people slobbered up like honey and are now spamming all over the fucking place.

I slept all of 2 hours last night. I wanted a nap, but I couldn't sleep because I kept getting interrupted. I'm just so tired. And frustrated. With my doctor who won't do anything until I've been on the new pill for 3 months. With my body which has something wrong with it, but I have no idea what. With the job search that has so far been unproductive. With life. With whatever is causing the mold levels to be so high here and killing my allergies.

I stayed up all night a while ago, and I discovered that sleeping while the sun is up is even more effective at preventing my nightmares than sleeping with the light on. Now I keep trying to tell myself to go to bed at a reasonable time, and I keep finding myself still awake at sunrise. It's easy to tell myself to develop more self control, but saying that doesn't seem to affect whether or not I actually control myself. (I'm still experimenting with different medications to control my nightmares, but my next psychiatrist appointment is a while off.)

I'm a hoarder. In the past couple months I've thrown away nine or so big black city trashcans worth of junk, and it does make a difference--I can see my bedroom floor, yay! But in addition to the hoarding I'm also bad at tidying and organizing and have a fairly small house and a lot of art, craft, and sewing/fabric supplies that I can't get rid of at least until I finish my degree, and I've got a year of classes to go, which probably means buying more supplies for those classes too. Basically I like arting around, but my hoarding wouldn't be as bad if I didn't. (Then I'd only have to worry about books, which is my next big purge project.)

I'm tired of almost everything so I wouldn't even know where to start, but the last few months it just feels like the universe is conspiring against me. Don't actually think I'm important enough for the universe to do that, but hey, feelings aren't rational.

Even my dog got sick! Took him to the vet, and I think he'll be fine, but he is getting older so now in addition to all the other shit I have to worry about I'm worried about him.

Mom is still not well at all, and it's dragging me down because I don't think she's ever going to improve, and all this time I've been telling myself, "Well, things will get better one day." It feels like I'm fooling myself.

And the insurance situation just...doesn't seem like it's ever going to be resolved. If we had gotten the money by now, we would probably be at least half finished with our house. As is, almost nothing is done, and we don't have the money to pay for anything else. (Oh, and we actually owe the contractor.)

I, like kallanda, want to sleep for a year.

My workload has been fairly light lately, after several years of working 80+ hours a week. This is great! I've had so much free time! I've been gaming again, and working on art pieces, and picking up new hobbies!

Except with all the stuff I'm doing now on top of work, I feel overwhelmed. Like i"m not making progress on anything and just bouncing around between different projects wasting time. Except when I've tried to cut it back and focus more on individual things rather than bouncing around, I feel bored and restless because I'm too used to working non-stop.
