Sauron/Galadriel. But only in a she hates him, he finds her hate a turn on and is kind of obsessed with her sort of way.

Maedhros/Maglor, but only after Fingon's death.

I read a great Celebrimbor/Finrod fic that makes me want to ship. Not sure if I quite ship yet, but I'm intrigued by the idea.

Okay, fanfic for the movie itself is a bit rare, but I came out of the 2003 LXG movie really really shipping Nemo with Jekyll & Hyde and judging by what fanfic does exist I was very much one of the few. Which did surprise me a bit, because Nemo was one of the few who dared get right up in Jekyll's face about Hyde, and they spent the entire last battle fighting to stay alive together and having each other's backs against a physically superior foe. They were the bit of the movie that most jumped out at me.

Kylo/Luke - I'm equally invested in what made their relationship fail and also how they'll respond to each other post-TFA

Kylo/Poe - The interrogation scene was awesome. Also, I find Leia's relationship with both to be an interesting dynamic to explore between them.

Thrawn/Pellaeon - Holmes and Watson :)

Thrawn/Luke - Really love the idea of Luke as this young but powerful leader on one side, and Thrawn as this tactical genius who often has to think about dealing with Luke while Luke has no idea

I also like the idea of Kylo/Poe. Not even so much for the interrogation scene, but the fact that with Poe's parents connection to the Rebellion, they might have known each other when they were young. The few months I read TFA fic I mostly read Finn/Poe, but a lot of that was the same fluff over and over again. Kylo/Poe had a bit more variety it seemed.

Okay, they're not a pair, but Neal/Emma/Regina, from Once Upon a Time. I never really got into SwanQueen and was only warming up to Swanfire when Neal died. Put them together, however, and I'm all over it. I'm also kind of interested in Emma/Neal/Graham, but that's even rarer and also does not go well with pairing Regina with anybody. Actually my shipping Regina with anyone supposes that at some point prior to the relationship getting serious the whole her raping Graham thing is actually dealt with.

Katherine/Magus from Gargoyles. Yes, I get it, she marries Tom but I'm kind of squicked by the whole "robbing the cradle" since she was probably in her late teens/early twenties when Wyvern fell and Tom was a young boy.

Castle: Kate/Lanie, it's a het-heavy fandom and the canon itself had the issue of telling me they were best friends rather than showing it most of the time, but I still ship the fuck out of them.

Marvel Comics: Shatterstar/Rictor, the X-Factor Investigations fandom is pretty tiny in general tbh so the fact that they have fanfic is awesome. Angel/Husk, lmao it felt like everyone but like 10 of us hated this ship, oh well I enjoyed it while it lasted.

Elementary: Sherlock/Marcus, again I think the fandom for this show is just really tiny in general, but there are some lovely gif-makers in it and there's at least a little fanfic.

Nu!Trek: Spock/Uhura, at least it seems pretty small to me but there is some fanfic and I follow a really nice tumblr that scrounges up anything for them, both together and separate.

I've probably got more but these are the ones that come to mind atm.

going obscure (for the fandom) and rare to boot
but Jezmine/Windfang (Venturas) from Conan the Adventurer cartoon. Most people pair her with Conan but Windfang gave up a chance at staying human because Wrath-Amon planned on turning her into a replacement for him and he rather go through that hell again then allow another to go through it.

Loki/Fandral and Loki/Heimdall

Loki and Fandral actually get along sometimes in the comics and Fandral was never malicious towards Loki in the movieverse.
And since Loki/Sif is somewhat canon I think it's hilarious he'd want a piece of her brother, too.

Spiderman/Venom

It's twisted but I like it. The girls are way too good for Peter, anyway.
