One of the worst things to do in roleplay is to app a character you have no (or little) interest for. In an RP where the onus is on the player to generate new and interesting situations and interactions for themselves, people who aren't really interested in their characters just end up wandering off. I've seen way too many people do so in my time. ;)

So good for you for putting that app down--there may be other people who actually have an interest in taking the character, after all. If the idea of playing with alts is a big draw for you to an RP, gyakusai_rp may not be a good match for you. But hey, stay tuned and the 'right' character may open up at some point if you ever wanted to try again. :)

55. I agree and disagree. I think there are some honorifics that are really hard to convey in english, so I like the honorifics, but if they aren't there, I usually just don't notice. I mean, if it is the english version of a series, it should be in english, right? So, really, whatever companies do doesn't really bother me. What bothers me are the people who cry because some companies do not keep them. Ugh.

24. Be true to yourself. There's nothing to be ashamed of, and you can't change who you are and what you feel. That pretty much happened to me, and though I broke up with him for other reasons, I feel much happier knowing that I can pursue the gender I actually like now. 8D

55. Using English words sound stupid. Seriously how many students living in the US use the word 'Upperclassman' when speaking to their older peers? No one, not one. And you can't just use the character's name instead because then you're 1)changing the personality of the younger character and 2)changing the relationship between the two characters.

55. I don't read a lot of manga, but I think honorifics are interesting. They give extra information about a character and their relationships with other people, and they do so in a subtle way that isn't always evident in the rest of the story. That said, I don't mind if a translation doesn't have them, either.

I didn't have very high expectations for the movie, but I really loved it. (I cried during the "we are here" scene; I'm kind of a wimp like that).

58. While Illusion of Gaia remains my favorite, I can definitely see your point; I loved that game as a kid.
