#17, I had exactly the same issue. I knew this before I even bought the game when I heard it on the preview, and the image of him I had COMPLETELY JUST screwed up. His design was wonderful and he was wonderful up to the point until he actually spoke!
But I did get used to the voice in the end - even though it was very disappointing. The hell you're not alone on this one.

I don't get the lulz. People are praising you for skills you already admit to having. Your point is? I mean, when it's revealed you're doing it in five different fandoms, just under different names, why would THEY be embarrassed?

This would be funny if you were subtlety incorporating random dongs or really weird fetishes into your art, or SOMETHING, to see their response, but as is, there's no punchline. Congrats on getting rewarded for drawing fanart and fanfic, just like everyone else in fandom!

I think the lulz come from the OP's admission that s/he's never even seen some of the fandoms for which she's getting BNF-ish recognition.

It doesn't seem that shocking to me. I mean, with mistful's characterization of Draco I'd be shocked if she actually read the books either.
