BTW, I saw The Hateful Eight today. What a remarkably well named film. Utterly vile.

I kinda want to see the magnificent seven as well, because of the hype it's getting, but the gun worship in the trailers makes me feel a little ill.

Nice music, tho. Nice music in the hateful eight too, now that I think about it.

The Magnificent Seven is a movie where seven guys go up against a small army of bad guys in a giant shootout. So if you don't like guns, that movie is probably not for you.

I enjoyed The Hateful Eight, but given Tarantino's record, I went into it expecting it to be full of objectionable things. Felt so bad for the nice people who got caught up in the craziness though.

I'm also leery about the magnificent seven..the original movie is not really gun-worshippy at all IMO, despite the premise, but I feel the same way about the trailers.

The Revenant. No Country For Old Men.

I feel bad about saying it, but The Holocaust Museum in DC was not worth the amount of time we had to wait to get in. But I think that may have been because we got stuck in between two huge school groups.

I thought the Holocaust museum was a worthwhile trip, but I didn't have a long wait to get in so that might've helped.

The Ring. Paranormal Activity.
Everyone kept going on and on how each of those two movies were just the creepiest, scariest movies they ever saw and I thought they were both pretty bland. (Yes, even the Japanese original of The Ring.)

Oh, I know, the Witcher. I do not fucking understand the hype W3 has gotten; I played the original and it was basically everything I hate about 90s western RPG gameplay combined with everything I hate about 90s western RPG everything else. You might as well call it Polish Sexism Simulator. Fuck that series.

The Good Place was not worth the hype. Though, admittedly, it is hard for a comedy to grab my interest. But it is my least favorite of the new shows I've watched so far.

Stonehenge.

On an intellectual level it's cool, but honestly, it's a very old rock structure. That's it. I think to be truly moved by it, you would have to not have seen 1,000 pictures of it in your lifetime.

(Apparently you used to be able to get right up to the rocks, and that was more special. We had to stand a "safe distance.")

Fucking 'Inception', holy fuck. Spent most of the movie wishing it would just end. 'Prometheus' as well, jayzus.

Also, salted caramel anything and weddings.

Pretty much everything Bioware has made since Jade Empire. I keep trying them, being disappointed, and then trying the next one like a total fool.

I don't deeply regret it but Voltron. I think it was because I never watched the previous versions so the reboot didn't appeal to me as much as it should have?

Don't know about deeply regretted, but Clone Wars. It's such a teenage boy show.
"They really pushed the boundaries of an animated show! It's so violent and dark!" Really? Rick and Morty, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Squidbillies, Metalocalypse. Over the top violence is not special for shows aimed at teenage boys and young adult men!

Most of the adult female character just flip back and forth between salty and thirsty. Everyone raves about the animation, but the characters look like they were made for an original Playstation game.

I'm slogging through it because I keep hearing it gets better eventually, but it's just so meh.
