My best friend started telling me she couldn't talk to me on the phone while I watched that show (which, they air it /all/ the time now). Because I'd just start going on about either Kate (who I adore) or the kids. And I love that the camera guys are also like her tattle tailers sometimes (when they all had the flu and the kids were secretly sharing lollipops and they told Kate? lol!), or the kids.

Sadly, I just moved and I no longer have my free stolen cable. Or my shared internet. I could only afford one. The internet clearly won.

It is my belief that people who dislike characters who can keep holding onto a positive outlook on life, despite suffering incredible hardships are whiny, selfobsessed, selfloathing wankers who are ashamed when they see someone who, unlike them, does not blow up whenever they are slighted in any way, thus reminding them of what annoying human beings they really are. How dare they have such inner strength?! Douchebags the lot of them....

20. Well... I hate to be cynical, but are you really expecting him to change his M.O at this point and write Konan as an awesome ninja with lots of depth? Way too late for that, me thinks.

40. God I love that comic. And that moment. And just... most of the comic overall. It takes everything screwy about the MGS plot and somehow... makes one realize that no, it doesn't work, but it's still FUN and that is what matters. Also, you do not kill wolves in the game... at least not that I recall. Then again I played it before I knew who Berthold was, so..

64. ... Is it sad that I really don't remember much of this guy? I remember Shere Khan and him being incredibly awesome, but not Karnage. In any case, now you'll have me humming that themesong for days OP. I hope you're happy.

06. I love Chris dearly. Initially, I thought he might be my favourite, but then he kept backsliding and doing little things that lost my respect. In one way, I like that, because it makes him feel more like a real person, unwilling to go against the herd and more than a little embarrassed by his boss's weird ways, but on the other hand, loyalty is always an important character trait to me, and poor Chris was always torn.
I still love him to pieces, but Sam and Gene are just hawtness in jackets.

11. I can imagine that would be extremely uncomfortable, and not just a little bit awkward.

13. LOVE! I'm a little sad that I missed the last few halloweens with my family, because now my brother and sister are too tall for us to cosplay as the Warner Siblings, but I think that the three of us were shockingly similar in many many ways, and I know Yakko influenced the kind of older sister I've been (and the way I talk).
That is a real sweet scene, and I'm sorry that you feel let down by your own family. Hugs?

21. I was really upset when he didn't die in the first one. I thought he was a great villian, I just hated him like mad.

27. They look to much like people at a church my mum goes to. I hate judging on appearances, but the last few years have geared me to react like a frightened gazelle to anyone dressed like that with a family that size.

32. YES! I love the Riddler. He's my absolute favourite Batman villian, and I want to see him in the new movies as a charming guy like that with OCD. (Have you read the short story/comic Neil Gaiman wrote about his origins called "When is a Door?"? It's fantastic. He's still a bit despicable, as he should be, but also, you feel bad for him and know all the hugs he needs.

34. I think it's interesting that Jack is now older than the Doctor by about 1000 years. I don't see why he'd be decomposed, but maybe he just ages that slowly...? Or not...

45. I feel that way about so many of my favourite characters. Sam and Gene from Life on Mars, Frodo and Sam or Merry and Pippin or Legolas and Gimli from LotR...y'know.

49. Sherlock? I never really wanted to ship myself with him, but Lord help me if I didn't want to be his friend-of-a-sort who hung out with him and Watson all the time. I can really only ship him with Irene Adler.

62. Yes. I hate smut. I really do. It doesn't matter how sexy I find the freaking character. Anyway, it doesn't matter how romantic the buildup was, the minute you start describing the act, it's just silly.

As I love Cloud (not that I'm sure "cool" is anything even remotely in the vicinity of his character), I didn't notice what was wrong with that phrase initially. Then I realized holy shit... they're basing this on Kingdom Hearts Cloud? And suddenly, it became so much funnier.

I've been iconing for about a year now... and I have around 5,000. It's been a little while since I counted them all. I absolutely love it and feel like a dragon sitting on a hoard of treasure most of the time...

The only reason I would consider getting a paid account is so that I could use more of them. I also love sorting them and that sort of thing.

Shun and Kai even hold hands when they fuck (and in Smart 15th, too). Sure, it's entirely probable it's contrived, but gay sex doesn't necessarily mean rape.

(Also, for the record, live-action gay porn has been the inspiration for some of my own slash fiction, even in the Johnny's fandom, and I think it's improved the quality of my writing at least tenfold, if only because I've seen what can and can't physically be done. And I've seen my share of hardcore along with the nicer stuff.)

I, shockingly, am just now reading Angels and Demons. I know, I'm late. So far it seems... startlingly similar to The Da Vinci Code. This I do not mind at all. But if it's the same team that made the DVC movie, it will undoubtedly be epic win forever.

Funny though, I haven't heard as much wank/controversy around this book and movie like there was about DVC.
