A real voting scandle

Fucking overwatch players.

So I rack up 5 gold as lucio, I have PotG, and I'm the only blue card we have on the board at the end and I still only get 2 votes. An I was one of them.

I don't know if this was a race thing or a lady thing, but either way overwatch players can go to hell.

Eh. The only way they know you are a woman is if you are on voice chat. And if you are on voice chat, I bet you are annoying on it.

In case you're feeling like taking this more seriously than is merited, no. I don't really thing is was a race or gender thing. Lucio isn't the only PoC, and I'm sure my voice sounds enough like a prepubescent boys that people just assume I'm a kid.

As someone who likes overwatch, yeah you're kind of overreacting. It's just a game, really. The votes are more like a pat on the back than anything, and sometimes players will pick their friend or favorite character/waifu over someone who got potg. Getting mad over votes is like getting mad your bag of skittles has too many of your least favorite flavor.

I HIGHLY doubt race or gender has anything to do with it, unless you were making a big deal about it over voice chat.

Anyway, if there was a Mercy, she'll most likely get the votes. That happened to me the other day. I was Bastion, and I completely WRECKED the other team (18 character kill streak, play of the game, no one could even get out of the starting area) and at the end it was me, Mercy, and a couple others. Guess who got all the votes? Hint: It was Mercy.

Getting more than a couple of votes is ridiculously uncommon, at least in my experience. I can count on one hand the amount of times I've gotten 5 votes and still be left with fingers; and I've been playing since early summer.

IME, most people don't bother voting at all, just vote for themselves, or leave the match before the card system even pops up. It's frustrating, but I wouldn't expect people to vote for you even when you are the best player on the team.

I don't know if it's a gender thing, but I doubt it's a race thing. Lucio is generally considered THE best support at the moment (second best being Ana).

Particularly on Tumblr Because you can be a hugely popular blog, but make one small mistake like using a word without realizing it's a slur or offensive, or like a person or a fandom pairing deemed problematic, and you go from popular to trash in the blink of an eye.

Sometimes I see SJW's tear into a blogger for an honest mistake and it's like you have to be perfect or you're a rape apologist, a racist or ableist or whatever. I have seen popular blogs lose thousands of followers for reblogging something "problematic" and it's not right.

SJW's say everything is "triggering" oh so conveniently whenever they're losing an argument or being proven wrong. White people are being made to apologize for being white as if all white people are to blame for racism, yet these people never clue in that they're becoming exactly what they hate.

SJW's make Tumblr toxic. I see them acting like that and want to say "go the fuck outside and help people IRL instead of pontificating behind a keyboard!"

I don't because it's not worth the struggle. I use Tumblr to connect with my fandoms, yet day after day my dash has callout posts or bitchfits over a pairing being problematic or a celeb is horrible - and I am just so tired of it.

SJW's are ruining everything and they can't even see the damage they're doing.

I keep seeing articles with compiled tweets about people being harassed in person for being Muslim, Middle Eastern, Hispanic, or black. Like the kind of stuff that apparently happened after the Brexit in the UK, with people telling anyone who wasn't white they'd have to leave.

Some people keep saying that no one has been harassed, and it's propaganda.
