I could kind of see your point before, since OP seemed to be pretty comfortable with where they were at, and I get those same kinds of arguments from people who insist that I should procreate cause children will obviously fill the obvious void in my life.

And yes, You're right, not everyone wants to be in a relationship. Like OP. and whatever you do want, whatever choice you have to make, you will hit a point where the disadvantages of that choice will weigh heavier on you, be it "I'm in a relationship and right now she's driving me up the fucking wall" or "I'm not in a relationship and right now I feel so lonely". I'm suggesting that OP be aware that there's no avoiding those dark spot and if you're alone you're at a greater risk than someone in a relationship.

And while I understand why a couple of people in this thread responded defensively to your initial comment, Personally, I don't think "Let me mansplain to you why you will eventually need a man" was actually what you were saying.

Anyway, yes, thank you for the fair assessment, I really wasn't shooting for that. I wasn't talking about marriage, I wasn't talking about women exclusively, and I wasn't talking about women needing men, or heterosexual or even sexual relationships at all. I don't see where those assumptions come from. I was thinking about romantic relationships, but what I said didn't even need to include that. I was talking about excluding reality for fantasy and how even fantasy is not all happiness and roses all the time.

As ususal, people here like to deliberatly misunderstand everything...

The other was prety mcuh the same thing, except about a romantic relationship and babies.

Possibly so, I certainly have it in me, but I'm not sure I see why that would be. Willing to be enlightened on this, but if this is a "I told you something annoyed me and you didn't fall in line with me on it" you may want to prepare for me to defend myself on that one.
