Does he sexually assault Snape like he did in the books?

Ugh, Snape apologists. James fought Voldemort because it was the right thing to do. Snape only started to give a shit when Lily was targeted. James bullied Snape and that was shitty. Snape bullied children who were under his care and that's even shittier.

Yeah it's not as if Snape was in a much worse state than James and more susceptible to falling in with the wrong crowd? What's James' excuse for committing a sex crime? Pretty sure Snape never forcibly stripped any of his students.

I don't see how "falling in with the wrong crowd" as a teenager has any bearing on Snape as a man in his 30s bullying 11 year olds? At some point you have to grow up, and Snape didn't.

What James did was shitty. 100% shitty. But James making shit decisions to hurt others as a 15 year old is quite different than Snape making them at 30.

It's not that much of a shock that the suicidal guy who was already a victim of abuse and filled with self-loathing would have issues getting along with kids.

What evidence of suicidal ideation?

Listen I sympathise with people who deal with terrible things, have rough upbringings etc. But there comes a time in your life where you take responsibility for your own life and Snape never did it.

He doesn't "have issues getting along with kids", he specifically sets out to create a hurtful environment in his classroom. When people are afraid, they cannot learn effectively. It's no wonder Neville was no good at Potions - he was terrified the whole time. By Snape. On purpose.

From Book 7:

“Her son lives. He has her eyes, precisely her eyes. You remember the shape and color of Lily Evans’s eyes, I am sure?”

“DON’T!” bellowed Snape. “Gone… dead…”

“Is this remorse, Severus?”

“I wish… I wish I were dead…”

“And what use would that be to anyone?” said Dumbledore coldly.

I blame Dumbledore, it is just easier.

(Anonymous) 2017-03-07 03:25 am (UTC)(link)
Honestly, Dumbledore should never have made Snape a teacher. He should have made him Madame Pomfrey's pharmacist or something.

(Anonymous) 2017-03-07 05:40 am (UTC)(link)
As a suicida, self loathingl person with a history of abuse: its still your responsibility to not perpetuate abuse or abuse others. Mental illness or history of abuse is in no way an excuse to harm others, especially children you have power over.

(Anonymous) 2017-03-07 04:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Snape was a mean teacher, he wasn't abusive.

Perhaps working as a teacher wasn't the best plan then.

(Anonymous) 2017-03-10 04:00 am (UTC)(link)
Pretty sure Snape never forcibly stripped any of his students.

Nah, just slut-shamed and body shamed one of his fourteen-year-old female students, that's all.

I just really like doujins of Western works, because I find them really interesting in terms of interpretations of the characters and such.
I have three Avengers ones from Korea that are super adorable.

(Anonymous) 2017-03-07 04:53 am (UTC)(link)
*coughs* Are these by chance digital copies? and if so, do you have any links ket?

They're physical, actually - I bought them at Seoul Comic World. I've been thinking of doing a mini-scanslation of them, for practicing my Korean, though.

Not a fan of yaoi tropes at all, but that's some beautiful art, OP! <3

(Anonymous) 2017-03-07 08:03 am (UTC)(link)
lmao at how bishonen they are when practically everyone in Harry Potter was hideous.

But....do you remember the doujinshi name? :D

(Anonymous) 2017-03-07 10:48 am (UTC)(link)
This particular image is from a sequel story that's not online but is in one of my old external HDs for some reason. Some scanlations for the author's other J/S doujins are online. Google 'Harry Potter dj' and 'The World', that's the name of one.
