Those three are my favorite main characters, but in all honesty, I'm actually a huge fan of like EVARY FE game. <#7=WAO)

I'd have quite a few people to blab to, but my online friends LURVE to ignore me! It's so awesome! Not a single one of the people on my current or old Flists or on any other site I use likes FE,on top of that. And my friends in real life? They're all BOIZ who play it for two days and are like, "Uhh, it was a good game, but I'm not going to FANGIRL with you." Which is no funs at all! (Not to mention they've never played anything 'cept 9 and 10, which isn't bad per se, but then you just don't GET as much out of the series.)

It's currently... 3:10 AM. I told myself at 9:30 I would quit playing after finishing the next chapter. ;_; /fails

That is love in it's rawest form, and it is undeniable in its glory.

OP; the finale crushed me a little, mostly because we missed seeing it at the regular time and had to catch it online, and so fandomsecrets spoiled it for me very slightly by posing the "What if Wilson leaves the show now?" post, and the moment Amber's life was on the line, I knew the only way that could possibly be a concern was if House failed to save her--

And I believed House for all of two seconds, in his analysis that Wilson would hate him for it, before remembering two things.

a.) If there's one thing we know for sure about House's relationship with Wilson, it's that he's terrible at judging Wilson. He can't tell when he's lying, he can't read his poker face, etc. And of course it helps that he's kind of damaged, and bound to believe the worst.

b.) Amber more or less agrees with House, but that makes sense too, with the way that House MD has so far portrayed spiritual things. If we assume that this isn't a literal conversation being had with Amber, but an image of Amber in House's head, then of course she agrees with him about Wilson's reaction. (And even then, it's not a very strong agreement.)

Obviously the relationship is going to be strained, but these two notions reminded me that it probably wouldn't be irreparable. Just -- asl;dskd;sl kick to the chest. Ow. Season Five is going to be so painful in places while they sort things through. (And I'm too masochistic not to look forward to it.)

118. Um. Sometimes writers know each other...? Seriously, I write, all of my friends write. Most professional writers have professional writer friends/acquaintances. That they all have book deals at about the same time probably just means they all started writing at around the same time and started trying to get published at around the same time because they know each other, or they know each other because they were all trying to get book deals and have that in common. It's not that weird.

To be honest, it is also the fact that three out of the four are also BNFs in the Harry Potter fandom. It was sort of 'I'm following your LJ for the fic or the wank or whatever,' and then WHAM! All of them have book deals.
It shouldn't be a big deal, and it isn't, it just strikes me as odd.

I agree with you on one point--people only like it because it has 'OMGZ TEH GAY", which is really sad. :( Personally, I really like the comic and started reading it back during chapter one because the art interested me. XD

I like the way May and Josh interact, which is why I kept reading. If it were a girl and a guy, just as long as they had the same character dynamics, I'd still like it.

But honestly? I love the artist 'cause she's pretty awesome, but her fans scare the shit out of me, especially since they're all crazy. I used to read the comments posted on the updates and OH GOD. :( Sometimes part of me wished it wasn't as popular so I didn't have to see that kind of crap. Christ. XD

I also love how every bl comic on smackjeeves or any other comic hosting website is automatically in the popular section, even if the art sucks some major balls. It makes me laugh. Whatever happened to enjoying a story 'cause it's good, huh? :/ Not because the characters are buttsexing.

God I'm not even reading Bleach, I just know the characters, and it made me tear up so bad seeing this secret WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED THERE. DDDD:

115. Killed to death makes me lol, but... so what if that IS why people like it? For one thing, changing one of the character's genders WOULD make it a completely different story. It would probably change the entire thing. Not a BAD idea, if someone wanted to do an AU, but do you really think Josh would have punched Metis at the very beginning if he'd been a girl? ... or hell, what if Josh had been a girl? =DDDDD DO WANT, SUDDENLY.

In summary, you might be right that nine out of ten people would stop reading. You might be wrong. That doesn't change the fact that even if it has a huge fanbase because of a shallow-ish reason, it is STILL a reason, it is a VALID reason, and some of us are in it for the art style (which I really like, it's kind of quirky while still being clean and attractive!), the storyline (cute, yes, but also funny as heck in some parts, and some bits did tug at my heartstrings a little). And given that the "BOYS KISSING!!!! OMG YAOIZ" didn't even actually happen until chapter five (out of a current six), that might not have been all of the original draw anyway (I would have been fine if it had stayed gen, but I like it like this too, lots).

What is happening here is pretty much this: Aizen Sousuke, big bad poobah of Bleach, has been manipulating his way up the ranks of Soul Society for well over a century. He's found people he has "befriended" and put in high positions of power, and that there happens to be his vicecaptain, Momo Hinamori who pretty much loves him more than life itself. So what he does is that he enacts his masterplan, fakes his own death (he has awesome godmodding illusion powers so there's a bloody mangled corpse and everything), sets her against her own friends by implicating that they were the ones behind the murder, gets her put in prison and then she breaks out, providing a distraction and then, when she happens upon her captain alive and well he... well. On top of that, there's TYL Kyoko addressing Tsuna in the same way his mother does. And possibly Nana likes her son a bit too much too, because there was the moment where she went 'My, isn't Tsu-kun growing up like his dad!' and blushes.

...Not that this stops me from liking Kyoko/Tsuna. It makes it a little odd, though.
