An honest question: how far into the first game did you play?

101. That's my problem. I seem to get into things just when it's died down and good as dead, or it's too popular with too much stuff and I'd never catch up if I spent 5 hours a day watching every episode or whatever I missed for 6 months (and then there's the problem of spoilers and feeling left out of conversations, because you don't know what anyone is talking about). Either way, I tend to be unfashionably late.

110 - Aw, me too. I was already in my very late teens when the show came out (so it's not really a "childhood" thing with me), but I watched it and as far as I'm concerned the other couple million thousand don't exist XD Course, that's probably because I've only seen the first two movies and seasons, but... nostalgia all the way! There's just too many to keep track of - how's Ash supposed to "catch them all" and be the greatest master if there's 2,000 more to discover each season? XD

I do not know the fandom but I will fight to my dying day against the notion that disliking female characters who actually are obnoxious, or pathetic love interests who were clearly created to be a plot coupon/arm decoration for some male character, is not misogyny. You can love your own gender without thinking that we are all angels and shed sparkly candyfloss instead of blood every month.
