I'm a high school teacher who runs my school's anime club - and this secret is me to a tee (replace ''hentai'' with ''yaoi'' (or simply ''slash,'' for that matter)).

Glad I'm not alone.

lol 149 OP<3

(Anonymous) 2008-06-05 10:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, hentai with yaoi/slash for me too. . . .

I'm glad I'm not alone too. :D

Haha! Yeah, that's the other problem. Still draw cartoon style...T__T

#160 - Why not? That's the best way to ship. And it tots works for that video game! :D

106, 110, 114, 121, 123, 145, 155

106. OMGHAWT

110. PROTIP: SHOOT IT UNTIL IT DIES.

114. dude. dude. femme!edgeworth. hawt, y/y?

121. s-seriously? o__o;

123. hell to the yeah. when ragetti whispered in her ear, i totally wanted them to get it on. <3

145. i can't accept that if only because i know of a great many fandom members who have NEVER been on fandom wank, who have ALSO publically made an asshole of themselves, simply because the opinion they're spouting all over the place is the perceived "correct" one.

155. anything i have ever seen/heard about kaiba has made me shout "YES PLZ."

123

113. I agree. When people ship Snake/Ike, I wonder if they even know anything about Ike. I don't know anything about Snake, but I kinda think those two wouldn't be a good ship.

[identity profile] duowolf.livejournal.com 2008-06-05 11:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Knowing both characters I think it could be a pretty interesting pairing.

103. Yeah, it sucked pretty hard.

118. Word. It makes me want to grab a rope and fucking swing and shit. That song probably breaks all kinds of stuff, like curtains and bones.

120. I really, really wish they didn’t make arguably the strongest female character in The Office into such a headcase. Yeah, yeah, I know, everyone’s crazy in The Office, but still, don’t they know how old “Break the Bitch” is? There are newer, less cringe-worthy, funnier places to go, show.

Though I ship Holly/Michael now harder than I’ve shipped anything before.

123. But halfway through the movie (nine hours in), the table turns and Will gets kidnapped way worse than Elizabeth ever did. Besides, pretty much every character other than Jack Sparrow are total clichés (and Sparrow eventually became a cliché of himself). It’s a self-aware pirate movie, and I think I needed the tropes in order to play with them.

But, yeah, the scorned Goddess was pretty awesome. However, considering the audience the movies were marketed towards (adults definitely could enjoy it too, but it was based on a theme park ride...), I don't see her as broad an identification figure like Will and Elizabeth, who grow and develop throughout the series (like a DnD session gone long).

131. Nabari no Ou! <3

136. I'd watch it.

151. The seme is such an ass and the uke looks like an alien. An ugly alien.

Who is the artist for the picture on the right? It's smokin'.

Also, agreed. Hell, the uniforms were one of the main selling points of the show for me!

[identity profile] featherheadfop.livejournal.com 2008-06-05 09:34 pm (UTC)(link)
166. Me.... too? Not in the sexual or romantic way. But I ship their relationship, whatever the heck it is. In a head-bashing, god-effacing way it's strangely adorable. DDL is everything he's cracked up to be, but I loved Paul Dano's ridiculous whining almost as much.

119 - Yeah I kinda feel that Sansa gets way more hate than she deserves, too.

165 - that book means so much to me, too, that I can't read it without cryinf and it is the probablly THE ONLY BOOK EVER that made me cry. I think it's because it's so loaded with emotional content and you get exposed to it as such a young age.

[identity profile] seiberwing.livejournal.com 2008-06-05 09:37 pm (UTC)(link)
103. Oh god that poster what the hell happened to Hoshi's face.

123. So she's cliche. So what?

147. Is that Dalia Gillespie?

151. ...that is not good bedroom talk! X_X

162. People hate on Silverbolt/BA? Most people I've seen are just apathetic about the pairing.

...nobody actually said they were like her, did they?

no, lmao. not miku. i just used that image because it was adorable and it happened to be sitting on my desktop.

110. PREACH IT. Especially when they flat-out SAY it's not hard. If that were true, why would anyone need the walkthrough?

145. Well, Fandom Wank isn't really the fandom police either, but otherwise, cheers.

164. GOD THAT ONE ON THE RIGHT IS SO HOT. I better go check and see whether I have it. Uh, also, I approve of the secret. EDIT: I do! Woohoo!

109. Oh god I didn't make the connection until now. Oh. Oh God. Cedric Diggory IS NOT DEAD HE'S A GODDAMN VAMPIRE. Look forward to the Harry Potter/Twilight crossovers NOW oh yes.

112. I have no problem admitting that a character can be attractive despite being a skeleton (usually through sheer force of charisma), but skeleships are just not a good thing. Bad fan, no cookie, tell the little men who live in your head and let you spot and interpret potential subtext that especially that pairing is Just Not Done.

117. There are occasionally TL:DR secrets I read all the way through. This was one of them. I may not be qualified to say anything as to how valid this is as a form of therapy, but hey: if seeing someone get beaten up helped you, good for you.

122. Someone roleplaying Dirk Anger anywhere would make me squeal in my seat, I kid you not. I hope you figure it out and bring that crazy little bugger to life in the most splendid way imagineable.

n!s 1. I agree on the overrated part. But that's mostly because I'm a shortsighted Disney fanboy who wishes that Mickey, Donald and Goofy could have hade bigger parts to play in the game instead of just being relegated to the sidelines. I know and am pretty comfortable with this fact, thank y'all very much.

112 OP

(Anonymous) 2008-06-05 10:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Which is exactly why this is a secret. I'm not particularly squeamish about pairings, but this is just a little too much - even for me. But dammit, I can't unsee it anymore.

109. LOL EDWARD CULLEN IS A HUFFLEPUFF

110. SAME HERE.

116. I've never seen that song on a fanmix. Then again, I don't search for them.

Also, Benvolio/Mercutio = YAY!

I guess I feel a little guilty because I use Des-Row as bait to get people into Pop'n Music.

"Oh, hey, you should play this game! It has Des-Row music!"

And then I listen to the track (don't get me wrong, I love Jack) and... all I can think about is Sesame Street. =o=

110. Oh my god, I know that exact walkthrough, and I know exactly what you mean. Like, for example, there was this one pig noise at 104 that it claimed was just a regular pig noise. FUCKING WRONG! It was blue and had wings and none of my attacks could damage it or even stun it, except when, randomly, they could. I never did manage to figure out the pattern on that, but I managed to kill it in the end, no thanks to that walkthrough.

119. I hated her in the first two books, because...she was really a moron. Everything she said was so stupid that I wanted to crack my skull against a wall. But as her life got shittier and shittier, I developed more and more sympathy for her, and I don't hate her any more.

But even when I hated her, I would have never wished for her to get raped. Ever. I just...wished Martin would stop writing chapters from her perspective.

140. I guess you just hate awesome stuff, then!

110,
