Back before I had to lock my journal down because of the troll, I got hundreds of comments from people, many of whom are now friends of mine, who said that they had come to my journal out of curiosity because of what was said on FW about me and who told me that they were completely confused as to how FW came to the conclusions about me that they did. (Apparently, it's really all because I'm still friends with Heidi. Well, she's always been good to me, and they've fucked me over. Tough decision, that.) FW is full of suck and people who suck.

I was tempted to get the stupid soaps just to see if the water clones would be in there. (Hence the phrase. It's kinda his special thing to manipulate water and make clones out of it.)

162. I agree whole-heartedly. It's okay if they have a soft-spot at some time...at least for someone. I LOVED Silverbolt and Black Arachnia growing up. (Spelling, I know. Embarrassingly, I was far too young to even be aware of fandom.) They can still be tough and kick everyone's ass, but still have a spot in their hearts for that special person be it romantic or platonic.

I can't watch the early seasons of that show anymore. Because after finding out that Megan and Sebastian's actors died on the way to set one day (the reason their characters were written out of the show), I just felt weird about watching a show with people who weren't alive anymore. It's also the reason I have trouble watching the first two Harry Potter movies...

103 - Aww, I love Enterprise! That, Voyager, and DS9 have always been my favorite Trek series. The creators made some bad decisions at points - particularly at the end (I will NEVER forgive them for the utterly pointless death of Trip) - but overall, I think it was really well done.

107 - Well, duh! Fandom is basically the dumping ground for all our fantasies, so it's no surprise that it's better than real life at times.

As a Bob Dylan fan, let me just say, people make him out to be someone he's not. I mean, yeah, his music's good, but he's not a God or anything. Some of his fans are a bit crazy. But then again, pretty much anything with a big enough fanbase is overrated. I mean, it could be excellent, but there's always someone (or several someones) that take it too far. :/

102. Moderation is the key, I've found. I play it with my boyfriend (because we need to be able to do something together other than just chat over AIM when we're 4,000 miles apart), and if one of just can't keep going for whatever reason, or if it stops being fun that afternoon/evening, we stop. We don't let it get in the way of our other interests, jobs, etc. You only end up addicted if you let yourself be. (And it's interesting to note that we started playing about a week after you "went clean," oddly enough.)

141. Samurai Champloo didn't do much for me personally, but I've done much the same thing with other anime titles because I thought the dub was just that good. Trigun especially comes to mind with that; I've never seen it in Japanese, and I really don't mind.

159. Word times a bazillion. Sometimes I feel like one of the only people in my fandom(s) who doesn't give a damn about the shipping, and I care even less about the sex aspect too. Just give me some good discussions on the canon or some good genfic, and I'm happy.
