139. Fandom is what made me think homosexuality was natural as well. I was a little older (10 or 11) but I grew up in a mostly white, suburban, largely Christian (although my parents were not religious) town where homosexuality was looked down upon. It helped me open my eyes to the fact that there are actually other people in the world who didn't fit the little "white picket fence ideal" that a lot of people had.

re. the fic thing I'd disagree slightly - I'm gay - always have been, and the thought of doing anything with a woman in that way nauseates me, but I like femslash. Not exactly sure why that is, but I guess it shows that what you like to read isn't necessarily linked to what you like to do in bed. Having said that, if all they like is guys then yeah - you're most probably right.

164: Why in the world are the names totally Americanized? Even on Paranoia Agent they kept the names. Names are names. I wondered before why people were calling KEICHI- CASEY. Who the heck is Casey and what is up with those names?
