Case in point: Asked my b/f today what a Green Day song was about (don't remember the name), he told me it was about the Iraq War. I always thought it was about graduation or having a fun time because of the only sentence I understood clearly and because it's such an upbeat, fun song. =_=

The comment that I know of is Kojima saying that Big Boss and Ocelot "immediately fell into liking with each other. It was a pure love." We know that it was an infatuation for Ocelot, at least.

And BB/The Boss is canon? Hrm. I think I prefer them having a very powerful platonic/familial love (although, considering The Sorrow is one of the "sons of The Boss", those terms don't necessarily go together... :P ). I do really like Boss/EVA though, unlike everyone else!

175. I feel that I should weigh in here being a member of that particular comm since its inception. I'd say miyuuchan has been an extraodinarily helpful member of the fandom, but I also think that the comm can be a bit trying at times. Most of what gets posted there is not to my taste, but I stay for the odd intersting discussion, and because I've been there so long. I also feel quite offended when people lump all of the members of the comm in together as the 'bad part' of the fandom, when really, its just not true. Some of the nicest people I've met on lj are also members of that comm, whereas in comparison, I do not have a single exclusivly con/yuu fan on my flist after 4 years in the fandom, mostly because the con/yuu fans seem to think that all wolfram and Yuuram fans are out to slaughter them.
