131. I have felt that way RPing before. Most RPers feel that way at some time or another. If you keep trying, you’ll find your niche. Don’t be concerned about what your partner thinks, even if she’s superb. If she has a problem with you, it’s her job to tell you. Being paranoid will only hurt your RP experience. And continuing to RP is the only thing that’ll help you improve and gain confidence. (Besides, c’mon, Haruhi?? She’s probably one of the most fun characters to play ever! I don’t even follow the series and I still think that!)

169. I often feel that way too. (Just not into smut. No prudish reasons, it just doesn’t do as much for me as a substantial, well thought out storyline does. Though the two are by no means mutually exclusive.) But there are gems scattered in the fanfiction cesspools. If you really want to find those fics, you’re going to have to pick through stuff you won’t really like, but maybe those gems are worth it.

175. It’s totally okay to be an intelligent human being and still like Wolfram. Aside from that, it’s more than okay to like a character even if you have a different opinion of what makes him special than other fans do. (Wolfram is win.)

Well, if it has, indeed, been fifteen years, then teeeechnically, it didn't take as long for the second book to come out.

Oh man. I don't know whether to hope (I've forgotten) that it's the final book to a trilogy, thus ensuring we'll never have to wait again, or hope there'll be more. ...though personally, lovely as unicorns are and all, I'd love to see more of his stories with goblins. Especially something like "The Stinky Princess."

BTW, jealous like mad that you met him. With Roald Dhal and whoever wrote The Last Slice of Rainbow stories, he's one of the three writers of my childhood who totally influenced the person I became.
