109 - I agree with you so much! I really hate the idea that just because someone bottoms the first time, they're stuck in that role forever. I can see how someone would have no issue with that, but I can also see that the exact same kind of sex, over and over again, would get boring.

I know that they are practically the same genre; but the reason I did not like Twilight and I really like Tithe is fairly simple. I've read /many/ vampire books that blow Twilight out of the water while Tithe was one of the only fairy book I've read.

I adored that show when i was younger and I was sad to see it get cancelled. Looking back on it now, there were quite a lot of slashy bits in it. xD How could I have not seen it before.

I'm just about to head to Nibelheim in the english version and I CANNOT GET MYSELF TO DO IT. I was playing it non-stop until that point, and now I haven't played in months. I can't figure out if it's really because I'm dreading playing the final battle again (SO GODDAMN CRUEL) or if I just can't deal with being finished with the Compilation. T__T either way lol yeah we're pathetic. sobbing on the psp, jamming buttons and going "NO, NO!" doesn't seem to help at all in that battle for some reason. :|

HE (red) starts the series in a depressed slump, until HE (blue) comes in and gradually pulls HIM out of it with sheer grumpy stubbornness.

Incidentally, HE is a warrior raised to be a bloodthirsty savage. HE also doesn't understand human emotions, and is apathetic about the potential destruction of the planet and everything on it. This does not stop HIM from protecting HIM over everything else. When forced to choose between handing over a superweapon that can destroy the planet, and watching HIM die, HE chooses HIM.

Meanwhile, HE is mooned over by two different females. HIS feelings on this fluctuate between frustration, cluelessness, and awkward avoidance. However, when HE is injured or in danger, HE freaks out and starts desperately screaming HIS name. HE does this even when HE is lead to believe HE is the cause of HIS father's death (the cause of aforementioned depressed slump). Indeed, all of his strongest emotional responses in all of the series are connected to HIM.

HE repeated lets HIS pride and dignity be abused just to make HIM happy. HE grapples laser bars barehanded to free HIM from captivity.
HE silently withstands pain and fatigue to control a MacGuffin so HE can use it.
HE dives into a pool of deadly goo to save HIM.

But the fandom is non-existant [sic]. Sure lots of people say they ship it, but there's no fanwork for it. Why? Because HE is very visibly NOT HUMAN.

Thanks for going through the trouble of transcribing it, and humble apologies for the eyesight abuse. I couldn't find a good starfield photo, and couldn't figure out a font color that would stand out the best. I'd do a non-eyeball-searing version, but that would probably count as a repeat...
