Is it a morally awful thing to use capslock chatspeak constantly? No, but it's not like tone and manner doesn't matter at all to the point or message you're trying to get across.

Pedants that correct every minor mistake are annoying. However, "it's totally okay to type like you're 12 *holds up sporK* when you're 50, how can anyone judge someone who does that, it shouldn't matter" is a definite disagree from me. I'm not gonna go correct them, but it's definitely gonna matter enough for me to stop talking to them forever

I don't think anyone is oppressed. I do think pedophiles who have never hurt anyone and recognize how bad their attraction are given a pretty shit chance at life. Pedophiles really need to be able to come forward without risk of attack in order to get the psychological help they need.

I'm a Star Wars fan and I did find things that were enjoyable about it. But, I am very tired of the fanboys who are touting it as amazing while shitting on TFA. The Vader scene wasn't that great and it didn't save the rest from being choppy.

Being overly harsh and mocking when giving someone writing crit is rarely (if ever) needed. Firmness and honesty yes, mockery and condescension, no. Some people just want to think it's necessary so they can justify their dickery and need to pick on people.

Fandom is not worth human lives. Keeping the fandom the way you like it doesn't justify verbal and emotional abuse.

It's easy to be mindlessly pro-vaxx if you've never been hurt by a vaccine. It's easy to take the party line and mock people who don't want their children hurt.

It's easy to be a fucking moron. Yes, vaccines have their place. They can be useful and good. So can fucking CPR. You don't give strong, adult-based CPR to every single baby the second it's born no matter its medical issues. Unless you want to kill people or give htem livelong issues.

Yes, I do think that comparison is apt and I wish people would stop drinkign the cool aid. You all believe anything that the media tells you if it involves a sad story about someone with a compromised immune system. Do some research. Listen to people who have been hurt.

Stop finding one or two people you can point and laugh at who are ignorant. You're part of the problem here.

There are legitimate points on both sides, but there are some real people who have been hurt by vaccines and there are real issues in what goes into some of htem and the way they're administered.
