146: Oh fuck! Keladry secret! I love that series I like all the Tortall books, but those (and Terrier) are my favs. Kel is such a great heroine and I'm sad that the Tortall books in general (and those in particular) have so little fandom. :(

I totally agree.

Both books are considered 'guilty pleasures', but Twilight was just plain disappointing, like a badfic gone wrong (and actually published!) - with Pierce I actually see some effort in fleshing out the characters and developing the storyline. D: Twilight just doesn't deserve all that hype, argh.

That episode makes me sob too. ;_; When I'm going through my DVDs, that's the one episode I never willingly watch because I don't want to get depressed over it. I only watch it if it's on TV.

Not!secret #1: I LOVE THOSE BOOKS! Especially The Forbidden Game series and The Vampire Diaries. I had to buy them off Ebay.

I always held out hope that they would become movies.

It got me to read the comic, which I hadn't read previously and wound up -loving-. (I watched the movie with my brother at home, then made him get up and go to his room to get it for me so I could read it RIGHTAWAY.) I wanted to do Valerie's monologue SO MUCH that I kept it folded up in my pocket for weeks.

I'm not involved in fandom, really, but I do know how elitist comic fans are (IRL) and it's a damned shame.

142. I'm not SS. In fact, I'm very much against it. But the pairing I ship out of the 'Big Three' can get the same way too. It sucks. I honestly feel left out a lot of the time as more of the 'elite' members like to talk amongst themselves and a 'newer' member like myself (even though I've been on NF for like a year) tend to get ignored, pretty much. I don't post very much in there anymore, and I noticed it's a lot of the same people who post a lot. (The 'elites'.) I actually find that the anti FCs tend to be more fun and open. Everyone seems a lot more chill.

So, tl;dr - don't worry, you're most definitely not alone, even if we're from opposite fandoms. :)

But then even if you only like ONE pairing people like to jump on you for "only being in it for the hawt guys/girls/sex/buttsex" what have you. Because not only does enjoying slash mean you whore out every male character, but also enjoying sex in your fandom means you don't take the show seriously or pay attention to any other aspect of it. =_= Seriously, I'm just starting to loathe fandom in general, k.

Man, I hear ya. Not only is the yuri fandom much smaller than the yaoi fandom, but a lot of shows out there just... don't focus on the female characters, let alone their interactions with each other. Darn you anime! Do more stuff with awesome girl characters (you know, the ones that are constructive to the plot, and aren't there just to flash their panties)!
