157. That looks like TRHQ. If it is, I have a horrible feeling that that post could have been one of *mine* BACK WHEN I USED TO BE STUPID. If it was me, all I can say is that I'm horribly sorry. I've also been uninterested in Pokemon as a fandom for a very long time, so it's "safe" to go back to. I can also say that, back then, I was a severely messed-up individual. I'm still pretty messed up, but I've gotten help, and most of all, I've *learned.*

I had a lot of influence from my Baptist church back then... some good, and some very, very bad. My beliefs have since changed DRASTICALLY. I'm still a Christian, but I'm not... conservative/Baptist anymore. Nor would I say anything like that regarding homosexuality today. Even a few years ago? Yeah, but not today. Basically, I am NOT the same person that I used to be - especially 8, 9 years ago. Or even 3, 4 years ago, when it comes down to it.

I DO NOT KNOW FOR SURE if the person whom your quoting was me, but what makes me infinitely sad is that it *could have been.* If I met my past self, I'd probably strangle her to death, then we both wouldn't exist, or at least beat the everloving crap out of her.

For what it's worth, if it was me, I am sorry. Even if it wasn't me? Keep on trying to see the good in others - EVEN people who say stuff like that, because THEY CAN CHANGE. I know I have. Even if this person was me, and you can never, ever forgive me for making you hurt so badly, no matter what kind of pennance I offer, know that people change. People change.

... I used to be Shadowcat/Lady Shadowcat on TRHQ. I can't remember which of those names I used.

As it is, I honestly feel like I want to die, because the posting style looks like my general style and way back when I used to go to TRHQ, I was an immature, Baptist-brainwashed twat with no manners and very little, if any, decency. My beliefs and outlook on life have honestly changed a hell of a lot over the years. I grew up. I met more people. I've moved over 3,000 miles to a more diverse community. Lots of stuff.

I still feel like I want to die, because I was probably that poster, and even if I wasn't, I *know* I said a lot of horrible, ignorant and stupid things back then. My fiance' has recently gotten charge of the old TRHQ board. I just asked him if I was allowed to get in on his computer so I can delete all my old stupid posts. It's the only way I'll go back there - if I delete "what I used to be."

V was a terrible adaptation when you hold it up against the comics. [V for Vendetta remains my favourite graphic novel, and blows Watchmen out of the water, IMO.]

However, it worked as a movie in and of itself.

The analogy I like to use is Hitchhikers: it changed every time for every new medium it was adapted for, because what works in one won't work in another.
