Hey, OP, do you mean that you enjoy Serious!Gintama but your fandom friends don't? Or do you mean that the serious bits are the primary reason you follow the series?

If the former, you're definitely not alone. I've never heard anyone complain when the storyline takes a serious turn, and plenty of fans at

gintama adored the Benizakura, Mitsuba, and Itou arcs.

If the latter -- well, I'm not sure where most people stand. Personally, I love both the crack and the drama (and I think the preponderance of crack makes the serious moments even more special), and I couldn't imagine having one without the other. XD

In my case, my music teacher was my favorite teacher and my father figure. Until I found out that he was a worse actual parent to his son than mine were to me.

152- LOL! I hate that actress. She can not act and now that you mention it, her lips do look fake.

115. Ironically, the picture you used in this secret is the only picture I've seen of her where she actually looks kinda cute and not fake and plasticky. (The fact that I have seen enough pictures of her to be able to say this is kind of sad, considering that I've never seen an episode of Supernatural in my life and have no interest in doing so. Your fandom has eaten the internet, it seems.)

It was the fandom fad. Most of the people who jumped on the bandwagon hadn't seen anything but the English dub.

I love a decent range of musical theatre. I'm not sure where you got the idea that I didn't.

I THINK I know what you're talking about, and if you are I feel the same way...unless this is just an umbrella secret you think could apply to any fandom or something.

There's a subtle difference between 'being addicted' and 'reading through the Encyclopedia Dramatica article'.

If it was Animorphs instead of Cats and HP instead of SPN, I would be wondering if I had made this in my sleep. Other than those fandom differences, I completely agree with you.

The Tim Burton thing... I know this is my fault for not clarifying. Tim Burton says he prefers to cast actors who can sing instead of singers who can act, which I agree with 100%. Whether or not he actually did that in casting for Sweeney Todd is a matter of opinion, but I agree with his principle.

I think I can act better than either of them, yes. I would never in a million years claim that I am a better singer than either of them. I love their voices and I had no idea they've won awards. Congratulations to them. I'm assuming they've won Tonys? Which would make sense.

This secret is just stating my opinion. I'm sorry that I'm coming off as arrogant. Would it have made you feel better if I had said "I believe a ten-year-old could play their roles better" instead of saying that I could?

#143: Uh... What would be worse; not-so-amazing actors or not-so-amazing singers? I think it's better to keep your ears in tact than worry about their acting when most seats are too far from the stage to focus on their acting.

Not to say that you shouldn't put up pics of yourself online, but if you don't- or just use small pictures- they bother you a whole lot less. :)
