110 - Eggs in a basket takes practice. Just keep trying. Eggs in a basket does not a hero make... But it does make a nice breakfast.

131 - There's this thing. It's called a "space bar". Look into it. It isn't "edgy" it's just "hard to read".

1. Yeah, so I'm kind of in love with you (or I would be if you didn't like Horatio Caine). That's so something I've done. It's kind of embarrassing, but I love signing names (mine and others'.) *is a dork*

129. OH FUCK YES!!!!!!!!!!! I <3 them both so much. I've been in love with Ruthie Henshall for at least 10 years now, if not longer, and Barrowman is awesome. Tell me there's fic for this, plz :)

137. What now?

138. This is one of the few video games I've bothered to finish. God, that ending depressed the hell out of me.

144. Agreed. I love their snarky back and forth - House in a relationship would NEVER work. I'm afraid the writers will cave and schmoopify him.

152. Yeah, me too. It all felt like an attempt to placate rabid fanthings. You can't make everyone happy, so why not at least NOT HAVE STUPID ENDINGS? Well, the Donna ending I hate but can live with, but the Rose thing...fuck. I pretend the series stopped somewhere mid-series 2 in her case. It's the only way I can still love it.

160. Can I just say that I'm still really, really sad that he's dead? I mean, it's not like I knew the guy, but it makes me really sad still.

164. Me too, dude, me too. Hell, I'd kill for a friendship like they had, it doesn't even have to have the romantical aspect. (I thought I'd found her. Not so much, it turns out.) Didn't they make them canon at the end? I could swear I heard that Gabrielle finally admitted to being in love with her, but I bailed on the show when the whole Eve/Livia thing became ridiculously stupid. I mean, you have to suspend reality like whoa for the show, but that was just too much even for me.

170. You are awesome. Seriously, you must be the most fun EVER. I wish I could come to work with you and hang out.

175. Do you breed those cats? *points to pic* If so, I'm begging you to email me (piperrhiannon@yahoo.com), I promise I won't out you as the maker, I'm just desperate to find a decent reputable breeder of Persian or Exotic Shorthairs - I seriously can't find a goddamn one.

I'm happy I reached both my opinions through outside research.

It felt silly when I realized I could trace my discovery of cetacean slaughter and subsequent opposition to it on grounds that some cetaceans are really friggin smart back to research for Ecco the Dolphin fanworks.

Then I realized that even though I love Spirit to death I'm still okay with eating just about everything else (beyond other probably-sapient or near-sapient animals like the great apes, elephants, and certain parrots) and didn't feel quite so silly.

I'm pretty sure that the gu who played (skin still on) Uncle Frank in the first Hellraiser movie. But that doesn't look like Julia. What is this from?

Re: 136

[identity profile] followingmyfish.livejournal.com 2008-07-21 10:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Not the OP, but I think it's from the second Hellraiser - there's a scene in it where Kirsty runs into Frank while looking for her father.

ETA: It would probably help if I mentioned that this happens IN HELL, which is why Frank has his skin again. *facepalm*

119. Oh god, is that Ben Barnes? That's... that's actually really appropriate. Although since somebody mentioned it to me, I can't stop seeing Dorian Gray as Johan from MONSTER.

125. Sorry, comparisons to HP are inevitable. Maybe by the time yours is published, the world will have finally gotten over the Twilight series?

128- While it is not the best book in the series, I still found myself enjoying it. At least this time we don't have to wait several years for a sequel -- next book in due out Summer of '09 :D .

124. Don't worry, I fell for the reverse trap a few times before I can associate Souseiseki as a girl. LOL.

138. I don't care what other FF fans say, that was one very emotional ending right there without it being extremely cheesy. First FF game I BAWWWWWW'd to. And yes, I have untold RAGE against X-2 too, and that's why I didn't bother getting a perfect score of the "best" ending because it basically spat on the X ending.

149. I like how boobs looks. I think they're nice but Eiken really, really made them very unappealing. God, that was a bad anime. Even a carrier of DD boobs, Eiken completely grossed me out. Ugh.

159. If this is actually about the Hitman Reborn main comm mod, you can't be any more wrong since her diligence managed to keep the wank low within the comm and it's not restricting at all unless you want to want to troll or do those request fanfic/fanart post or blogcrews but they were flooding the comm. I apologize if it's someone different.

160. I was shocked when I found out he died like YEARS later. He played a great Ares, IMO. RIP Kevin Smith. I hope those rumors aren't true, but it happens.

161. If it's about those two, why not including the other girls makes a person a yaoi fanbrat? Would having a yuri version of that video make that person a yuri fanbrat?

164. Wait, there are still people who ignored the lesbian context? And the fact they were soulmates?

165. A personality you don't like =/= no personality. Near has a personality, he was childish, ruthless, sarcastic, brutally honest and took no bullshit wrapped up in a cute package, but he still had a capacity to care for others (which was shown with Mello and L). Near isn't an easy-to-like character either, which is why I like him as well. Besides, he doesn't look like a shota anymore in the "109th Chapter" extra anyway.

176. It would be epically funny if you slipped up and sent the wrong message to the wrong person.

Not!Fandom #1: I had a semi-stalker in high school once. He followed me EVERYWHERE in the school to the point I had to sneak out of school and had to give up my lunchtime in the library to get away from him. It was utterly EMBARRASSING when he told my friends he had dreams about me. I did turn him down but he didn't want to give up. I hated that I wasn't comfortable in school and was afraid he would know where I lived (and I did live nearby). It sucked, but I wouldn't wish the Death Note on him. Not worth it. It was surprising how pleasant a person he was years later after he stopped that nonsense and he acknowledged how crazy that was.

Too Big #1: It's awesome to be friends with a fellow fujoshi, although we were friends way before that but I kinda unconsciously corrupted her. It's really nice although I have to hold back on the really hardcore stuff. My IRL friends always treat me like an oddity as it is about that.
