114. I've never seen Gurren Lagann in any language, but I watched the dub trailer and the voices sounded fine to me. On the other hand, the fans were all going "OMG KAMINA IS ALL WRONG". It just depends on what you're used to, I guess.

146. Well, personally having watched both I have to say I enjoy the new series more because it looks better. The Rose hate really gets old btw.

150. I think some people just can't come to terms with the fact that a movie about a comic book franchise was actually as well thought out and handled as this movie was. Critics love anything that goes against the grain. I go to the movies to be entertained but I also tear movies to shreds over unnecessary scenes and plot holes and yet after having seen TDK three times now I still feel as though it's one of the best films I've seen and that's not because I'm a huge fan of the franchise or the 'hype' over Ledger's death. When I saw it opening night I left the theatre shaking a little from simply being wound so tightly through the entire film -- nothing's ever come close.

172. I think the entire cast was amazing, but yes I am sad that Eckhart is getting overlooked because of Ledger's performance. Both characters were amazingly handled and Harvey was so human. He was the best of them and he fell the hardest.

After meeting Link, she sent him out to go collect the keys to the Temple of Time (where the Master Sword is kept) so that they could defeat Ganondorf before he caused any real trouble. However, Ganondorf came after her first, so she had to leave Link the last key and get the heck out of dodge. So Link goes and opens the Temple and gets the Master Sword. However, Ganondorf followed Link in.

Did I mention that the Temple is also the gateway to the Sacred Realm?

Link ends up being too young to wield the Master Sword, so he's put in a magical sleep for seven years. When he wakes up, he finds out that Ganondorf has taken over Hyrule and has acquired the Triforce of Power.

So, yeah. :/ I'm personally neutral to her, but I can see how some people wouldn't like her. (Of course, there are those who hate her for "getting in the way" of their OTP, but that's just general fandom idiocy.)

Hopefully if I've made a mistake in explaining this, someone will correct me.

I was listening to their spoiler podcast today, and honestly their review wasn't bad. They took issue with the end - and to be honest, so did I. I feel it would have been a much better movie if it had ended right around the time Adam said it should.

They liked the movie, and Matty even said that he thought that Adam was being assuring because he kept saying how much he LIKED the movie. Their job is to have a conversation about things.

Although about the title, they did say that if No Country for Old Men was titled differently it probably wouldn't have gotten such acclaim, so I have to agree with you on that particular aspect of their review process.

The reason there's so much yaoi is because of the lack of female chars. There's like Ryuuzaki-sensei, An, Sakuno, Tomoka, and that random girl from Hokkaido that was there for 1 chapter late in the series? There's only so much het pairings you can do out of those and most malechars don't even seem aware of them. Besides, do you REALLY want to see Ryuuzaki-sensei pairing fic?

If you don't wait yaoi, try find gen fic to read instead? The tenifriends fic exchange is mostly about friendship.

I would be fine really with OC characters if they are done well and not over Mary Sue-ized. I wrote something for Shiba before, her and An are good chars I think. I was good with yaoi before but the over abundancy is just... ehhhh.

125. ... What? Really? I can't say how much I disagree with this. Sorry, OP. I play a character from a Japanese tokusatsu that no one in the entire game had ever heard of. In my first post, he got a huge response and still is able to keep up relations with other characters.

He has two canonmates now, but the first one isn't around very much and the second one isn't intro'd yet. That's okay — mine still plays with other people and other people play with him. I can understand why all the Doctor Who characters could get annoying. I mean, there are a lot of them, but you kind of have to admit that the canon pretty much begs for a setting like this, right?

Anyway, like I was saying, I'm glad you love the game, and I'm glad it's not all bad for you. But if you think you need canonmates or to be part of a certain canon to get noticed, maybe you need to go about playing in another way — the game is slow, and a lot of the time, it won't just come to you.

You want to play? Then just play.
