Yeah, Nina's not my favorite character or anything, but there's no way she deserves all the venomous hatred she gets in the fandom. I mean, Viletta is racist too, and nobody hates on her.

I couldn't care less about the card games (the duels often bore me and I don't collect the cards anyway), but I lovelovelove the characters! I don't care eithr if people think it's silly or childish, Yu-Gi-Oh! is a fun series, and even though the plot is very thin, I still like the storyline, especially the Ancient Egypt Arc.

PS I'm 34 years old, and I still swoon over fictional Pharaohs. Join the club! ^__^

101. I love him too. And while I don’t lust after him specifically, I probably wouldn’t kick him out of bed.

103. I KNOW!! I started watching it and I always loved it. And then all of a sudden this shit exploded all over the internet. First it was Wincest, then their real life, then what happens when fans get in proximity to the actors... I mean, they are characters on a TV show. Portrayed by actors who get paid to do this. Please to not be scaring them. :S

While I didn’t particularly liked the Iron Man movie and did like the Batman one, I don’t think liking one over the other makes you any of said negative things, and anyone who says so is a snob, and not in a good way. Batman has more followers, yes, and the Iron Man movie did not stick as closely to the comics as all of us would’ve liked, but the acting was good. And it’s up to everyone what they do and do not like.

122. I found the movie rather humorous, considering what actually happens in the book, but I can see how one afraid or uncomfortable with clowns would hate it. That is one freaky fucking clown!! And also, there is something about Stepehen King. He takes everything you may not think is scary and, so very elusively and inconspicuously, makes it terrifying to the very soul.

137. O_o Can’t understand that, sorry. Can’t even begin to. He does a flawless British accent, if that’s what’s going for you. And he didn’t become any less of a person or an actor than he was when you found out a fact not previously known to you, but always true, did he?

146. Deal with things however you need to. Just don’t take a knife and slice people’s lips open, and you’ll be fine. Different people deal in different ways. And Joker may be a psychopath, but he had a whole lot of points (both in all comics and movie versions) that made a hell of a lot of sense to me.

167. Yep. Heath’s portrayal has inspired a lot of this kind of thing. And I’m not questioning it at all. :P What wouldn’t I let him do to me?

170. I’m not in the fandom, but I used to watch it a lot when I was younger. And I always had a feeling a lot of things that happened and themes were definitely for adults and not kids. So don’t feel ashamed. I don’t think it’s a strictly kiddy show at all. And even if it is, we all have our little secrets like this, don’t we?

173. I agree, but I did like it. And, I mean, I read pretty much all Batman comics ever written. I can definitely accept criticism of the movie, and a lot of the intelligent one is correct, for both sides. I wouldn’t be too fast to jump to conclusions that the only reason people liked it was because of the hype. I mean, Harry Potter movies get more hype than any other, and still a lot of fan don’t like them (AND HOW). I can see a whole lot of good things about it too, from a purely technical point of view. In the very least, it’s pretty close to how Frank Miller wrote it. All the plot-holes that stem from direct adaptation can’t be blamed on the movie. Though, I will say I had a few major problems with the movie I consider a big deal. Still liked it though.

175. My university feels and looks like Hogwarts (as it’s based off the British school system, too). I picked it because it was right in all senses for me, but I can’t say it wasn’t an influence at all. Because it totally was. Felt right.

This made me smirk because while I don't know Iron Man comics; I do know Batman comics and was distracted by various and sundry deviations and what they did with some of the comic characters.

Iron Man was a better movie for me, because it didn't put any women in a refrigerator, give my favourite character's lines to her brother, or turn another of my favourite characters into a mob informant.

119. Nina isn't my favorite character in Code Geass, and her fear of Japanese was always *facepalm* material to me, but I never really hated her. It annoys me to no end that I don't remember her getting hated on this much before the table scene. I felt sorry for her in that scene, and kinda thought everyone else had, too, until I saw the reactions to that episode.

144: I was at Comic Con, and that actor was the most hilarious of the bunch. I've only seen one episode of Atlantis, and he was my favorite character for that reason.

148: LOL, the guyliner follows him from role to role. I'm beginning to think that he doesn't actually apply eyeliner, it just oozes from his pores.

173: Ever heard of YMMV? Just because you thought the film had plot holes and an anticlimactic ending doesn't mean everyone would agree with you if only it weren't for the hype. Of course, what you say is most likely true for many people, but generalizing everyone who loved the movie or were affected by it as blinded is ridiculous.


On another note, I think F!S has corrupted my mind. First time I saw TDK, my reaction to the Joker was this: "Wow, he's intense! And crazy! And oddly hilarious! Great performance, great character." The second time I saw it, it had changed a bit... "Wow, he is kind of hot." THANK YOU, FANDOMSECRETS.

It scares me so bad. When I was young I saw that it was on TV, but my parents said it would give me nightmares.
I, being young and foolish, went ahead and watched it, secretly. It was so terrifying. (I doubt I have to tell you I had nightmares.) Now I really, really hate clowns.
So, I sympathize. Hope those nightmares aren't too bad.

143. I first read that as "a whole lot of fuck"...er, yeah.
152. IAWTS! That episode started out great with fearless!Haruhi saving the girls from those bullies, and everything went downhill from there. I mean, come on. I really disliked how Haruhi ended up agreeing with Kyouya. And did they really need to give Haruhi such a stupid weakness just so the male characters can comfort her? >_> I still like the series a lot, but that episode does bug me tremendously.

I'm perfectly okay with you thinking they look like the ass end of a horse, as long as you keep tuning in each week so the ratings continue to grow and we get a fifth and final season in Sept. '09.

While I always thought Jensen was pretty, it took a while to come around to thinking Jared was attractive. Also, not everyone in the fandom is batshit, some of us stay as far away from the wank as we can.

140. I find them hot, but not hot enough to make me watch the show just for them, so I also enjoy the plot.

173. Actually I don't care about the media hype and Ledger's death had nothing to do with my love of the movie (hell, I'd never given Ledger much of a thought). I loved it because it was a good movie and I've been a fan of Batman since I was 5. It was nice that the live action movies are finally GOOD.
