152. I understand, though my opinion differs. I really enjoyed the more serious episodes (neither more nor less than the funnier ones), especially because I believed Ouran pulled them off very well, particularly the beach one you mentioned. That one hit home for me. I mean, it can't be rainbows and happy daisies all the time, ya know?

168. I read that book and enjoyed it. It wasn't the best thing ever, but it was way better than Twilight, so IAWTS!

It's mostly that it had a horrible message, I think. I'm not the OP, but I wanted to smash things after seeing that.

This movie made me hate clowns for ages when I was little. I had never actually seen the whole thing until I became an adult.

But I found that the best way to deal with the scary clown was to remember he was played by Tim Curry.

Tim Curry = Dr. Frankenfurter (Rocky Horror)

Then I'd get pictures of the clown singing Sweet Transvestite in my head ...which to some may or may not be more creepy than the clown itself ;)

111. Same here, except I thought about the AUs with Samantha. With Felicity I was totally gone over the Colonial era and wanted to write in-genre fanfic. Plus I totally shipped Ben/Felicity and had no shame about it, either. :D

I've visited Yale's Art History library and holy crap it IS Hogwarts and it's beautiful and I kinda wanted to live in it forever. :D And while I understand the technical and practical aspects to the rare book library (special limestone walls, extra protection for rare manuscripts, blah blah) it's an ugly modern blight on a really beautiful campus aesthetic. (Interesting fact! The "weathered" look on all the Yale buildings was actually done with an acid wash!)

I love "this guy", too. And I still love the films. I just limit my exposure to the fandom. There is SO MUCH turrow, sparrabeth, sparrington, etc. etc. out there, I'd never get a bloody thing done if I tried to keep current on all the fanfic and comms and whatnot...

111. I wrote a story like that once, as a kid, except it was about Kirsten. I also used to write fic about Crash Bandicoot. And there's probably some other stuff that I'm forgetting. Actually, I think I may have written more fanfic before I discovered what fanfic was than I did after.
