170: I'd love to watch this show, but the whole card game thing really puts me off... Because, yeah, the characters seem interesting, especially Yugi and Yami. I have a thing for possession (as in, someone being possessed) and stuff like that. And the fact that, in this case, the possessed character likes his alter ego makes it even cooler. Oh, and I'm old enough to be your mom, so don't feel like you're "too old" to like the show. ^_^
BTW, have you ever seen "Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged" on YouTube? "Screw the rules, I have money!"

The characters are really the best thing about the show, in my mind. Honestly, I hate the whole card game thing (but it makes for some fantasic crack). The whole first season (season "zero") has almost no card games, so maybe you should watch that!

And yes - I love the Abridged series! I've actually always loved YGO but faded out of the fandom; and YGOAbridged sparked my love all over again. :B

Oh man, yeah, IT is horrifying. I had serious nightmares after I saw it the first time (which was only a few months ago - and I'm almost twenty years old). But I've watched it a few times since then, and spent a lot of time mocking it with my friends, and now it doesn't really scare me anymore.

I would suggest some serious mocking. Might help. ;)

122- I never thought that movie effected me. Till we were watching Dreamcatcher the other night (Which is set in the same town and universe, and implied the same enemy ish) and the little girl disappeared into the drain pipe and I was like "OH GOD NO DON'T GO IN THERE!"

125- Leloch is thinner with longer legs then Kamui. He makes even less biological sense. ;3

168- Twilight is some kinda of freak fluke. There's so many YA books that are SO MUCH better (Tithe, or I prefer Valiant, A great and terrible beauty, Uglies, Peeps, anything by Francesca Lia Block, anything by Dianne Wynn-Jones) I think that's part of why Twilight pisses me off. if it was just treated as the YA cheesy romance novel it was...it's be significantly less obnoxious. And possible more enjoyable.
