I was off work today, good thing too as I'm having a mild IBS attack and have needed to stay close to the bathroom all day. :( I got all my laundry done tho, and I'm off tomorrow too in case I'm not feeling well. I really wanted to go for a run this morning. Maybe tomorrow.

I ran errands--and the most interesting part of my day was on my way home and I watched 3 marked RCMP cars, 1 marked RCMP truck and 2 (what I'm assuming could be ghost cars) unmarked cars all pull into the same driveway. They didn't have lights or sirens on. I'll probably never actually find out what it was...but I'll have to check the police reports in the local "paper" for the next few weeks see if they mention anything it might be.

Other than that, didn't do much else today--had a nap. Fed the cats. Sis and I went out for Chinese since it's so fucking hot out....

[Discord RP] Avatar: The Mystery of Nuvak (ATLA/LoK RP)

It's been 5 years since Harmonic Convergence. Sadly, Avatar Korra of the Southern Water Tribe spent only one more year in the realm of the living before she passed on, starting the Avatar cycle anew.

With the loss of Korra, Asami Sato poured all her energy into Future Industries, and the company expanded aggressively, an action which has taken its toll on the planet. The North and South Poles are melting, the polluted oceans are rising, the natural earth has been lost to development of roads and factories, and the air has a heavy oily smoke to it.

There were joyous times as well, most notably the union between Huan Bei Fong and Eska, Chief of the Northern Water Tribe. Soon after Korra's death they welcomed twin sons to the world: Nuvak and Avalak. But the joy only lasted a moment, for as soon as the first born, Nuvak cried his first cry, Koh The Face Stealer had taken the newborn's face. Eska was trapped in a spiral of panic and grief while waiting for the second son, Avalak to come into the world.

It's been 4 years since Nuvak lost his face. The people of the Northern Water Tribe are restless due to the glacial melt and their chief will do nothing to help them, the world is in disrepair, and a new Avatar is nowhere to be found...

Current Plots Asami Sato is running for president, and the only one who is opposing her is Mako, Chief of Republic City Police. During a public debate outside City Hall, members of the Northern Water Tribe attack the rally, and Asami Sato is abducted. Now, she must be found.

Other Details We're currently a small, well rounded group, but we'd welcome a waterbender into our ranks.

We consider ATLA and LoK canon, but disregard any other material such as comics or video games simply because the founders of the RP haven't read or played them. The less said about the Shyamalan movie, the better.
