Well, that's one thing off the bucket list

So, a while ago my GF bought me a pipe. Purely decorative, and slightly because I have an oral fixation. I don't smoke but it is a very nice looking pipe. Beautifully carved.

Well I've had the notion that once in my life I'd like to try smoking it.
My GF has STRONGLY disapproved of this notion.

Well, fuck her, she's not my superviser, and tonight she left me alone, so today I went out, bought some tobacco that apparently comes somewhat highly recommended on the "Good and Cheap tobacco" lists and just now I gave it a whirl.

Anyone interested in the results?

I've always wanted to try smoking a pipe, too. I don't smoke at all (occasional hookah with friends, maybe) but I think it'd be fun to try. Was it terrible?

I don't get it? How do people get hooked on this stuff? How do people have the commitment to get through a hole pipe load?

Sure, it's kinda satysfying exhalling a long uninterupted stream of smoke, but honestly it wasn't worth the £20. It tasted kinda unpleasant, and after the fist few puffs found that I was able to get some smoke into me without coughing, but once I did there was a kinda nice heat in the back of my throat that wasn't too bad, but really wasn't worth the effort of loading the damn thing. Then lighting it too fucking ages. Drawing enough smoke to feel anything was a drag (haha). I only loaded the pipe up once and couldn't be bothered trying to finish it. I still have nearly all of the tobacco left.

All in all, I don't get it. But at least I got to try it.

Edit: I will say this, tho. After the "Suppressing the coughing" stage was over, I probably looked very cool

I bought my first domain name! It was for my blog. Not a business decision at all, my blog is new and it's not like I have ads or anything for revenue. I've just always wanted one. I feel so cool, and it's motivating me to add content regularly.

I jumped out of a perfectly good airplane yesterday. It was a tandem skydive because I can't afford the course for a solo jump but it was still great.

I started my first fandom-specific tumblr recently. It's been like a month and I already have a bunch of followers and mutuals. It's been pretty great and I've started creating original fandom content for the first time in years just because I'm having so much fun.

I rode in a helicopter. It was at a fair, so we got to fly around and see everything from the air. Pretty cool, 10/10, would recommend.

Too many/obvious piercings
Unkempt beard or hair or just generally poor hygiene
Fat
Really thick neck

It can be hot in fiction, but in real life, jealousy of any kind. It really pisses me off. A partner telling me they don't want me hanging out with someone, or trying to restrict how I dress or who I talk with is not for me. I don't cheat, and if they can't trust that, bye forever.

A lot of things that fall within the definition of "manly". Body odour, hairy limbs, penises.

Tattoos on the face, neck, back and shoulders, especially large ones. I'm not crazy about sleeves either, even if the art is well done. Smaller more subtle tattoos are fine. Ear gauges of any size look gross to me, as do facial piercings.

Whenever I read about characters "sharing the same breath" or something between kisses/while cuddling/close I always gag. I hate breathing in someone else's used up breath and instead of it being romantic/hot as is the author's intention, it really disgusts me.

What did you try to do? Did it work out? I'm going to have to strip some wallpaper and paint in the near future and even though I've helped someone else do it before, I still feel nervous about it.

How's everyone doing? Currently working on setting up my new computer and figuring it out. I've never had a computer without a hard drive before, but Apple isn't selling hard drive ones at all. So I had to buy a portable hard drive to go with it. I do like that it has both the old USB and the new USB.

Lost Cat

My cat went missing a week ago. She is still missing. I miss her so much. My other cat has been crying and looking for her.

Former neighbors had a female Siamese, G, that they didn't spay and let her run loose. G had several litters of kittens. B was a female from G's first litter. PS was a female from G's third litter. I caught the stray tom cat that fathered PS (named him Squeaky), and got him neutered.

Eventually G, PS, and B wound up having kittens within a few days of each other. PS only had one baby, a female runt. PS was still a kitten herself and abandoned the baby. The neighbors put that baby with B's litter since she only had three kittens.

PS and G were both run over and killed. They put G's five kittens with B. She wasn't producing enough milk for everyone. I completely adored PS (Pip Squeak), so I offered to bottle feed her baby plus the runt from B's litter. The neighbors didn't care, so I took the two girls. PS's baby was a tiny little tortoiseshell that looked funny. I ended up naming her Butter and called B's brown tabby daughter Needy.

Butter grew up and didn't look so funny anymore. She was a bold cat. She'd go up to my Mom's dog and rub all over her and would hiss and swat at the dog if she tried to walk away from Butter. I would call her a bad cat and she'd hiss and swat at me. Calling her a good cat got you headbutts and purrs. Same tone (positive and negative voice, acting happy or disapproving for both), same movements for both statements. She knew bad vs good.

I have Autism, depression, severe anxiety, and PTSD. Butter and Needy are my ESAs. My Mom has been helping me look but the rest of my family are being assholes. Like my cousin asking me if I've looked -everywhere- , that Butter probably wandered off to die somewhere , and asking if I've finally given up hope for finding her. The way she is talking it is like she knows where Butter is. I live with my Mom and Mom's younger sister's family.
