If there's going to be a new Batman and Superman, who do you want to see playing those roles?

Are there any other superhero roles you'd like to recast and/or reboot?

I honestly don't care? I don't think the casting was terrible. It was the story and direction that were terrible.

Armie Hammer as a younger Batman. Honestly, just bring Tyler Hoechlin over from Supergirl to play Superman. He was great. Also, I am so proud I spelled his name right the first time.

I saw a tweet about casting a black Superman/Clark Kent & I love that idea.

I wouldn't mind Armie Hammer as Batman/Bruce Wayne.

I always want unknowns (or at least unknowns to most audience members). I prefer big name actors to play characters that aren't known in their own right, and for iconic characters to be played by actors most people have never heard of.

I don’t really care who plays them so long as they can act and the writing for them and the DC films in general stop sucking.

I'd like a 40-something Batman if it means we can have lots of Robins around, and also because we've seen 30-ish Batman before in Batman Begins. I also just kind of like a Batman around 45-ish, since that's how I envisioned him when I was reading comics ca. 5-10 years ago (this was mostly just the age I hit upon to make the approximate ages of the Robins fit without meaning a 20-something Bruce adopted a teenage Dick). I liked Affleck in this respect. Actually, I liked him in general, but I especially appreciated that his Bruce was portrayed as getting into middle age. I don't have any ideas for a replacement though.

We have been waiting for our house appraisal for what feels like forever. We wanted to close on September 28th but we still don't know if the house will appraise for enough. I have been clenching my teeth in my sleep from stress. So now my teeth hurt. :(

I am so sick of judges refusing to make decisions on telephonic motions until the night before or even the day of the hearing. Really? You do understand that lawyers have lives and have to make plans. Not knowing whether we'll have to fly until the day of is frustrating for us and for the clients. Stop being assholes.

Ugh. Since my mom got cancer and passed away a bit over a year ago, I’ve developed a phobia about sorting and opening mail because there’s nothing like a $99,000.00 hospital bill to ruin your day. (Or my life, but eh.).

Today I opened a letter from the county assessor’s office dated last month, and learned that because my lawyer hadn’t sent them a copy of my mom’s trust, my property tax bill might skyrocket. The deadline for sending a copy was almost a month ago. I scanned (badly) my copy of the trust, sent it in, and called to make sure they received it, and now I feel like I’ve run a marathon and am gonna collapse.

I hate mail and dealing with bureaucracy. And there’s lots of unopened mail where that came from, including something from the city claiming I owe them rental property tax. I’d like to rent the house, but it’s pretty much falling down and not currently being rented. Gonna deal with that tomorrow. Blech.

well my fandom vent definitely pales in comparison but

I am so fucking tired of most of my fandom constantly complaining about how the story isn't going the way they thought it should/want it to, instead of taking a half second to understand that the author is telling the story he means to tell and no, that character not being able to be hot shit in that boss battle doesn't mean the author doesn't understand his characters. It means you don't understand what he's getting at and think this is Dragonball Z.

Drive. I hate driving. I hate the idiotic Texas drivers who don't care about road rules. I hate the stress and anxiety driving gives me. I wish San Antonio had a decent public transportation system.
