So stupid that you can't watch the show or movie. Tell us who annoys you with their stupidity!

Do you mind plots that rely a lot on someone (or a group of people) being pretty dumb, like horror movies where the characters split up to search the haunted house?

I've been binge watching Fear the Walking Dead and I just started season three, and dear god, everyone in this family is just dumb as fuck.

They get separated, they find each other again, they get separated again, someone dies, someone else dies, it's like... WTF??

I am enjoying the show itself, but it's like, C- parenting skills all over the place here.

I can watch the show, but I have to skip her scenes. Lori on The Walking Dead. HOW DID YOU CRASH THAT FUCKING CAR?!?

Negan (for me) was the last straw for me. I HATED him so I stopped watching.

What I really hate is characters who are generally speaking pretty intelligent, but for plot purposes are given what I think of as "situational stupidity", just temporarily.

Like, for example, the Winchesters have been proven to be scary levels of competent when it comes to what they do, they don't underestimate the bad guys, they see when someone's setting a trap for them, etc... until it's required by the plot for them NOT to :/ Very frustrating

Long and tiring. The mucky-mucks were at my job observing and asking questions and bugging the managers. Then we got updated on what they want us to focus on and what they want us to discontinue doing for awhile, and it's going to affect quota (I struggled to make quota but did). I'm debating calling in tomorrow and taking a mental health day.

My boss asked me to apply for an inventory position in our department when a vacancy came up from another girl leaving, and I had originally never applied because I knew it was going to seethe at my co-workers even more than I already do, but I applied because she asked me to and got it, and yep. I hate everyone.

How fucking hard is it to keep the counts correct in a fucking automated system?! You tell it, "I am removing 100 tablets." and it does. You don't fucking take shortcuts and just take the med and then freak out when OHNOES WE DON'T HAVE ANY OF X!! HOW COME?!

Busy. Had a hearing this morning. Also preparing for 3 hearings on Thursday and 1 on Friday and also a job interview in Austin tomorrow at 9. This week. Just. I think I'm probably going to sleep all day Saturday.

Today was probably one of the worst shifts I've had in this job. Got off to a bad start by falling up the stairs on the way in and landing on my pinkie finger (the nail actually bent back ugh) and it just got worse from there. D: Basically everything that could've gone wrong did go wrong. Tomorrow can only be better.

Horrid. It was my great uncle's funeral today. My granddad, who has vascular dementia, became very upset and nearly fell and also got very disorientated. Now my blood sugar is ridiculously high from the stress and I feel like I have been run over. Currently faffing about in the ao3 tags for a nice long hp fic to settle myself down with.

There are a bunch premiering this week, anyone watching any of the new ones?

I watched Manifest and it's somehow both weirder than and not as weird as I thought it would be. Also, I didn't really connect (not necessarily identify, just connect) with any of the characters, which is something I need to sustain my watching of the show. I'll give it another episode or two.

I watched Big Bang Theory last night, which was perfunctory.

Super stoked for The Good Place on Thursday and Bob's Burgers on Sunday!! (I have a twinge of sadness for my missing B99, but at least they're coming back in the spring instead of not at all.)

I've heard a lot about it and frankly the more I hear the more confusing it sounds, although most people seem to have a fairly positive opinion of it. Ngl the primary reason I'm considering watching it is because I find the two leads both super attractive, but idk anything about what kind of show it actually is (other than "apparently super bizarre Australian sci fi series.") Are the characters well-developed and interesting? Is the plot good? Anyone got any opinions on any aspect of the show, lay it on me.
