169 I can understand your angle. I do both, the Elrics are so amazing without adding incest. You are absolutely right; their relationship is simply -beautiful- and I was so glad they were together in the anime's end, it seemed right where they should be.

As for romance, the same can be said (Y ADD SEX?) for just about any fictional relationship: brothers Sam and Dean on SPN, the cousins Neji and Hinata from Naruto, or even friends like Roxas and Axel in KH (I really don't like that one as more than friends myself @_@)-- it's like you just want to scream WHERE IS THE GOOD GEN/FAMILY LOVE? DO NOT WANT DO NOT WANT.

To some people, incest is just wrong, to others, the situation in the context of the show could very well happen. I float in and out a little bit in all, but I think most agree that bottom line their base, powerful love, familia, drew fans in initially. Maybe you're just accidentally stumbled with the ...special... incest crowd who really do just fsk it up for pr0n? Whatever it was, tl;dr I ship their family first, then w/e else.

I used to agree with everyone else that Steve looks awful old and obviously Jon's kept most of his cuteness etc, but after a lot of thinking I guess I thought Steve aged most gracefully. I dunno, he seems the most dignified to me even though I really wish he did something with his teeth and he shouldn't have pulled his hair back from the late 80s onwards, it made him bald faster :(

I still worry whenever I see most recent lives of him though, he looks like he's going to die on the spot.
