136: Considering that the creators are Japanese and hardly know any English, I don't think that's possible. Also, the enormous BL fandom for shonen manga/anime is both very well-known in Japan, and the training ground for new manga creators (though that goes for all dojinshi, not just BL).

171: Generally I agree, but "shota" is also used when both (or all) characters are the same age, and (as opposed to pedophilia) they're generally not prepubescent.

Also, I thought "slash" was the non-anime/manga version of "yaoi"? Though most people use "BL" nowadays.
