The possibilities for the writers to fuck this up are endless and it scares me to think about it.
I think I'm gonna bawl my eyes out when this ends.. no matter what the final outcome is gonna be! It's been ages since I reacted that strongly (emotionally) to any storyline on tv and I'm sooooo gonna miss it =(

171: 1: I do think it's necessary to distinguish m/m from f/f because people who are into one aren't necessarily into the other, but the asymmetry of "slash and femslash" bothers me, so I use "boyslash" when I'm specifically referring to m/m for that very reason.
2: Actually, this usage originated in X-Files fandom back in the late 90s, and was copied from bang paths (http://catb.org/jargon/html/B/bang-path.html) (cos X-Files fandom was mostly on Usenet at the time). As originally applied, "sad Bob" and "sad!Bob" wouldn't mean quite the same thing, though the difference is subtle. Sometimes it's misused. I don't think there's any difference between "hate sex" and "hate!sex" and I wish people would stop using the latter. But I fear this may be a lost cause.

I have never found that, disgruntled anon; certainly clarity of posts is prized, and the beta list is always being pimped out for the shiny, useful thing that it is, but my experience of TGS has always been that it's a classy, welcoming, wickedly hilarious and contented place. One of the best fandoms I've ever been in.

Maybe she didn't care for having to trawl through shitloads of text to find out what you were actually trying to say. Being verbose is very irritating, especially if you're trying to talk about your feelings or something important. try getting to the point rather than waffling. If she said tl;dr after knowing you for a while, obviously she's been putting up with it for a long time and finally got sick of it.
