I primarily ship m/m, but I also love het. Every once in a blue moon, I'll ship an f/f pair, but I rarely if ever seek out fic for it.

Female, straight. I ship het and yes, which is why I have very few ships. If I don't identify with or admire the female character on some level, it doesn't work for me.

I’m a lesbian and I don’t self insert but whenever I like something not f/f I do love seeing versions where it’s genderbent to be f/f.

I'm bi, though pretty much averse to any sort of relationship - i don't really like being touched.

I shop m/m or f/f mainly, though there are some m/f 'ships i utterly love. I have zero interest in reading m/f smut, or f/f smut, and only certain kinds of m/m smut.

I do not self-insert at all, and in fact actively shy away from anything remotely like that. DNW.

Asexual, panromantic, and I'll ship anything that seems appealing/right for the characters. I don't self insert, it's all about the characters.

Mostly straight, mostly m/m, and mostly as a mary sue right in between them, lol.

Bisexual, I ship everything, more drawn to m/m and f/f though, and I don't self-insert at all as for me what I'm into is the characters being into one another, I have no interest in putting myself in there, it's about them.

Asexual, and whatever would make my favourite characters happiest (and/or would fuck them up in the most interesting ways). No self insert. Dragon, not lizard. I don't do that tongue thing.

bi-romantic ace. self-insert is not my thing.

I'll ship most things as long as you can explain why the pairing is together. Even a couple of sentences to explain why they are together. I'm not fussy on that front.

Bi and I tend to ship M/M the most, F/F next, and then M/F last. Sometimes I self insert, sometimes I just want to watch. It really depends.

Bi/pan/queer/whatever label is least likely to make you want to get up my nose about it.

Lately it's been either:

Sexually explicit and kink-specific stuff that can only happen in fiction (consentacles, cyber), or...

... nonsexy relationship fic exploring subtext dynamics and interactions that are hinted but not fully explored.

Mostly f/f or m/m, but lately just not into the work of trying to rewrite the generic unambiguous straight guys of pop culture into a gender-flipped version of the porn lesbians who spontaneously get it on while waiting for the pizza guy. And less into now that I'm picking up a lot more queer original fic.

I'm ace/aro, but I feel like I have a sort of vestigial hetero leaning? It's hard to explain, but I am vaguely attracted to men, just not to an extent that I have any desire to touch/be touched by them myself.

I absolutely never self-insert at all. But I definitely vicariously experience what the characters in the fic do and feel. I'm not sure if that distinction will make sense to other people, but it's very important for me.

Vicarious experience of romance/sex = hot AF.

Bi and I ship anything that has chemistry. I don't self-insert at all; I ship for the characters and the chemistry so I'm just here for two characters who are really into each other.

Lesbian, I mostly ship m/m with some f/f if I find characters that have the right dynamic (but my fav dynamics are just so rare to find in f/f couples, which are fewer enough as it is). Never het.

I don't "self insert" per se, but if I'm imagining myself as one, it'd be the uke/bottom.
