Tired. Had to be up early to work 630 to 230 so that I could go to physio at 3, which leads also to: sore from physio. :<

Also annoyed because the machine in our building's laundry room that allows us to top up our payment cards for the machines is out of order and has been since monday, and since I have no money on my card I can't just do my laundry anyway.

Not great...despite anxiety to do with phones...or doing anything of an official nature, I made a phonecall to get something done that I was hoping to get cleared up in the next month or two... 4 months just to get it started. And I need to make a phone call to put off something else because of it.

Tired, worried about one of my hens, and currently plonked on the couch with my cat on my lap. Went on a short hike today, saw a rattlesnake, but was almost more excited to see tadpoles because I love frogs. Wildflowers were beautiful. Went to buy Into the Spider-Verse at Target, after trying yesterday, when they were out but said they’d get more in. They were out again. Finally thought to check their website and every Target within a hundred miles was out. Gave up and ordered it from Amazon.

Wife has something wrong with the lumbar spinal region. Looks like the canal around where the nerves exit for the legs is narrowed, we have a fast-tracked MRI for tomorrow to be sure of what was seen on her CAT scan. She's in excruciating pain and the ER could only prescribe two days of pain meds and muscle relaxants, but at least she's finally able to sleep and isn't constantly screaming in pain.

I feel so fucking helpless, even though I'm feeding her and taking care of her. I feel exhausted and hoping that tomorrow (her last day of available meds) will see us with both answers and someone giving her long-term medication so she's at least able to sleep and function.

The good news is where this is happening tends to mean microsurgery, which wasn't an option even ten years ago really, to basically shave off the opening to stop squeezing the nerves.

I was surprised that no one seemed to gave made this kind of ad before and predicted that we’ll probably get similar ads with Hollywood celebs in the future. Coming from anime/manga fandom, I hadn’t considered that the commercial might come across as creepy (personally watching it confirmed for me that I have zero interest in dating sims and that if it weren’t for the novelty I’d have been simply bored).
