Martin Freeman has stuffed his foot in his mouth so many times that I honestly just have this feeling of vague distaste every time I see him now. Ruined any chance of me enjoying the Hobbit trilogy (tbf I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have enjoyed it either way), and he was a deeply unpleasant surprise popping up in Black Panther. Ugh.

I feel kind of bad for him in the sense that he seems like one of those actors who is just fed up with his fans but has spent so many years acting that he can't imagine leaving the business.

I sort of half-agree... I hate what he stands for, and by all means it should put me off as an actor, but he melts so far into his roles that I honestly forget I'm watching him sometimes. Like, my brain forgets that I'm watching an actor, even despite his shitty background.

I mostly feel this way. I'm okay with him in Edge of Tomorrow, though. Watching him die over and over again somehow made me okay with watching him for the rest of the movie.

Honestly, I don't really watch/read interviews, nor do I really follow too many people on social media, so I haven't run into anything someone's done that has put me on a hard stop for their media.

James Woods which really sucks because I used to love him as an actor. It was fine when he was just regular 'Hollywood crazy' but then he started getting aggressively messed up in the head as the years went by.
