...but then, I'm all alone in a strange city and I tend to get bored a lot. I did the same thing back in college before I met my friends, and the same thing again waaaaay back in grade school. Whatever gets you through the day.

Really, Nolan.

I mean, there's ships I see that I can understand the dynamics of and even agree with, but it's just not my thing, really. I like reading het-fic more, and I don't see why that makes me a homophobe. Not!Secret 1: Yes, he is, and honestly, I think his absolute best performance is as the reader for the audio books of the Dresden Files. Very versatile voice.

I'm convinced that people are ONLY into this pairing because OMG canon-slash and can't see the completely and utter lack of chemistry, which is pretty amazing considering that Barrowman has chemistry with everyone and everything else. GDL needs to STFU instead of parading the fact that his character gets to fuck Jack as if that proved something special about him. Cos it don't.

149. Um, how about no. People who object and take offense at the existence of slash are close minded homophobes. While I don't hate or care if other ship slash, I don't care about pretty much any slash ship, mainly because I tend to like women so het and femslash is more my thing, and as such male/male holds absolute no appeal to me, I don't care if other people like it, ship it or whatever, and most people who are het fans that I know are also like that (granted I don't hang with homophobic idiots so that might be why)

What if it isn't dislike so much as it is indifference? I don't care about slash because in fanfic I usually like to read about the women so male/male does nothing for me so i don't read it, I don't fangirl it and I don't seek it out. For other people they are only interested in male/male so that is all they read. One's fanfic preferences does not brand how open or close minded they are.
