I don't binge the Bon Appétit channel as a whole, but I loooooooove watching the Gorumet series with Claire. It's fun to watch but I also really feel sorry for the poor lady, she needs a break!

The recent vid she did with Brad was also fun too, I just really kinda love Claire in general tbh.

Pikasprey Blue and Pikasprey Yellow. It's the same person, the first one is his let's play channel and the other one where he posts scripted stuff.

He's the only LPer I watch. I love his weird commentary and masochism when coming up with ridiculous challenge runs (he's the one who originally came up with beating Pokemon with only one Ditto) and playing awful games. His Pokemon stuff is the most popular but he plays a wide variety of games on the Blue channel.

I prefer the 1987 Hallmark adaption of Frances Hodgson Burnett's The Secret Garden over the movie version. The accents were a bit hit or miss, but I just liked the atmosphere and the setting better.

The two Sifi channel Dune miniseries, if those count as movies. Dune and Children of Dune. Both were excellent.

What is everyone doing this weekend??

I am thankfully not doing much. I need to try and get up before 8am to go for a walk. Otherwise, I will die from the heat. Will probably play some video games and that is about it.

The Lion King has got meh reviews.

I do wonder how certain fetishes or kinks come to be 'things' for us. I'll admit it - i love pony play. But...why? I don't want to be the pony...or particularly 'have' a pony. I just want to see pretty men *being* ponies, and all the trappings and special stuff (like hoof boots) is very cool. I like puppy play a bit, too, though not as much.

But where does that come from? It's all so baffling. I remember a Dick and Jane story from when i was a little kid, long before sex or sexuality was even on my radar. Sally (the little sister) was pretending to be a rabbit so she didn't have to do her chores; 'mom, rabbits can't sweep the floor!' or whatever. So they told her rabbits couldn't have pot roast or chocolate cake, and she had to stay out on the porch and here are some carrots for dinner (so she's stop 'playing rabbit').

And that was ....reeeeeeeally interesting to me, even though i didn't connect it to anything sexual at all. What is going on in our brains?
