Yes, its really the same people doing both.

I personally think she is meant to be sympathetic but god do I hate her. At the start of the show I actually liked her to some extent but after how she kidnapped Glimmer and Bow and Glimmer got hurt, I don’t care for any of her scenes.

Because that is what they are called in marketing. Like, you can by Classic Disney Collections.

Also, classic doesn't mean "sacred". Classic Rock just differentiates from 90s rock or modern rock. It is also generally music between 60s-80s.

Speaking of remakes...

Considering the political climate in the US, I'd love a remake of 12 Angry Men set in this time period.

I think the current trend of hating on OC work is frustrating, given how many franchises are really awesome settings for fan stories elsewhere in the universe. I'd rather read a good story about obscure branches of Starfleet or the Jedi Order than yet another shipping fic right now.

Animal Planet used to be my favorite channel. Then I got a cat. Now I can't watch any of their vet shows or animal rescue shows. Even the ones that don't involve cats, if they involve injured animals make me fear for my girl. I had to block some groups I followed on Facebook because people would post about their animals dying. I can't even think about my cat dying or being injured or sick. She's become my whole world. I don't think this is healthy.

The dating among millenials is down in general; People *know* that others have been subjected to ideologies that fuck them over in relationships, be it from gender stereotypes to other things (like men living longer than women in married relationships)...I just see 0 benefit to being in a partnership with anyone, especially a man, despite being attracted to them in theory.

Also, people are working a ton of hours to afford shit apartments and food; Less time to date tbh

I’m heavily attached to the classic films and I still don’t mind the live action remakes lol. I’m mostly interested in who gets cast and looking at the prettiness than anything particularly original.

Which is a weird objection because in most other cases, you know it's a "classic" when it's been performed and reinterpreted at least a dozen times.

I believe it because that is how EVERYONE uses it. So, when talking about the movies, saying "classic Disney" lets people know what you are talking about.

I... I hate to break it to you, but as someone who has been in fandom for 25+ years... OC work has always been hated by the majority of fandom space.

The biggest disappointment of GoT season 8 for me was Jaime's ugly haircut. I appreciate it was the right but/style for the character at that time and place but I still prefer the short (and admittedly totally incongruous) style of seasons 4-7.

Oh yeah, I love it too. But one time I shared a link from it and some anon on here whined about how evil it was. Reddit is just like the internet, it has terrible and great places.

Do not even try to step to me and say that if it was anybody else but him the same people wouldn't be tearing him a new asshole over how ~problematic this is.

I don't know what the hell those abstract people are doing or thinking. The point that I am trying to make is that there is a genuine distinction here. You can think that Sheen dating a 25-year-old is creepy, but it's clearly not as bad as other age gap relationships.

I believe that there is something wrong with a 50-year-old dating a 19-year-old, or a 17-year-old, or a 16-year-old, in a way that is much worse than him dating a 25-year-old. What I reject is the idea that this is somehow hypocritical. That is fucking absurd. Just because you object to age gaps in general does not mean that you have to think this specific Michael Sheen relationship is morally wrong.
