I find it hilarious how many conservative people are fans of Star Trek considering Star Trek very blatantly promotes socialism. The perfect future of humanity involves giving up money and property. This means there is no poverty, no war with each other, no hate. Basically the socialist ideal.

I LOVE Tina/Zeke! I get that they're 13-year-old boys, but Zeke seems so much more respectful of Tina than J-Ju & likes her as a person instead of just as someone who will do things with them (like Jimmy Jr. wanting Tina to do a 'sky kiss' in that one Valentine's Day ep).

I unironically enjoyed Men in Black International, and I'm honestly not sure what the reviewers were complaining about. It wasn't as good as the first movie, certainly. But it was better than 2 or 3 and a very enjoyable movie.

I mostly liked it, except for the last couple of minutes when I realised they were trying to imply romantic feelings between the main characters (whose names I can't remember, I just remember them as not!Thor and not!Valkyrie), and I was just like, 'Ew, compulsory hetrosexuality'.
Otherwise, it was pretty fun. I liked the cute baby alien who came back huge and murderous. He was cool.

I liked it, too. Sure, it was flawed, but it was still a lot of fun and yes, definitely better than the MIB2 and 3.

I think people who look down on popular music are ridiculous and stupid. Music is music. Who cares what other people like? Who cares what is popular? Popular music can be good. Pop music can be good. I unironically play Britney and N'Sync and Taylor Swift right beside my metal and rock artists. If it sounds good to me, why does it matter? If it doesn't sound good to you, don't listen. Don't judge others for their music taste, though.

I want to get into some of the translated Chinese webnovels I've seen around, because the summaries look fun and tropey, but the editing is frequently absolutely shit. It's just so goddamn bad.
I've been reading some of the better fanfic instead. Same vibe, but it's easier for me to quit a badly written fic than a badly written novel, for some reason.

I really want to do fanart for some of my favourite fanfics, but I'm really bad at finishing what I start, and I find it really easy to do the, 'Oh this is so shit, why bother, it'll never be any good'.

I really wish there was more optimistic scifi (or fantasy) like Star Trek out there. The world itself is depressing enough. I don't need that in my fiction too. The real future probably will be depressing. But I want to see a more happy future on my screen and on the page.

I think FFN is better than AO3. I just wish they would allow explicit fic again. There's still lots there but it can disappear at any time :(

In spite of Goodkind's terrible worldview, the first four Sword of Truth books are still kind of enjoyable. The worldbuilding and characters are just fun in spite of his messed up opinions that show up more and more. I occasionally reread them.

The show was better, though. Legend of the Seeker is still my favorite fantasy show, and I'm still sad we never got a season 3.

I loved the "Betsy-Tacy" series, but I wish I hadn't read the last book. Betsy gets married and goes completely domestic. After all her dreams and work at writing stories, it's her husband getting published while Betsy plays the house-wife. She straight up says that being a housewife is the most important thing to her. It was disappointing after all the adventures in the previous books.

The friendship between the girls pretty much boils down to Betsy and Tacy throwing Tib at every eligible bachelor they see. Like all they care about is her getting married even though she's happy with her job and single life. The happy ending is that Tib finds some random guy, literally in the last few pages, and there's a wedding.

I know it was written in the fifties so I shouldn't have expected it to be progressive but I'm still annoyed.

I haven't seen any of the Toy Story movies because the animation creeps me out. Same reason I haven't any Shrek movies.

i'm not against RPF but I don't understand people that write slash or ship people who have done homophobic stuff, are homophobic or support homophobic governments. music rpf and sport rpf is full of those

I don't want the ships that I ship to become canon. I like to have the power to imagine how they would be and make various scenarios, if they were canon I would have to obey and accept what canon says the relationships would be like.

I hate Inside Out. Joy should have been the villain. She was a genuine bully to Sadness. Even though she learned her lesson at the end. She was too awful for most of the movie for that to make it any better.

I'm legitimately excited about Cats 2019 and can't wait to see what they do.

Especially given that Old Deuteronomy is mentioned as having wives and children in the song but like. He's a she in this version. Hngh I can't wait.

I don't care what anyone says about The Last Jedi anymore.

The Canto Bight stuff ruled, the Luke and Rey stuff absolutely ruled, and the ending was amazing. And Leia flying through space ruled too. Sure, the rest of the movie has its flaws, but who cares when it does so much awesome stuff?

There's this online casino/gambling website called Mr Green and they air a lot of commercials in my country. And I really don't care for those kind of websites but damn if that mascot isn't one hell of a hot guy. Not quite enough to ever consider to start gambling but damn.
