you can say it to me, baby. I've been saying this for years now. Never have I seen an author so bad at writing that he constantly writes his own characters OOC and can't keep his story/designs straight from one page to another.

Pity, too, since the series had such promise. (I wonder how the series ended now, I've been scoffing at it since vol 5)

LOL I love when people try to assert that if you didn't create the characters you're drawing then it's not 'real art' or whatever. I guess professional illustrators and animators and comic book artists who're drawing for different writers better all quit, huh, since their endeavours are apparently futile!

The funniest thing is that so many of these illustrators or comic book artists or whatever originally learned their trade and were hired on the basis of how well that drew "fanart." I mean, I get annoyed at bad fanartists too, but most of them are 12 and new and learning. By the time they're 22, 32, 42 . . .and have been to college and perfected their trade, they'll actually be good. And then they'll get hired to write the next X-Men comic, etc. Sigh.

Give me a break. First off, Aang and Toph are not going to be 12 years old forever and I don't think extrapolating what they are going to be like older is impossible. Second, they are not normal 12 year olds, while they do have their immaturities, they are also more responsible and mature than any 12 year old that I have met, and they do not live in normal world.

I think this is also another problem with equating romance with sex, in that you can be in love with someone and not want or need to have sex with them.
