Who is watching? The first two episodes actually make me happy. It's silly as fuck and the only reason anyone would want to watch that show is if they obsessed about the actors as a teen (which, hello, self) but it's funny!

I watched the first episode and it was interesting, with its mix of truth, exaggerated truth, truth adjacent, and fiction in their personal lives. But apparently I know a little too much about their actual lives because I was all like, "Wait, so he wasn't in a horrible accident and she wasn't on that show and the actual reboot didn't happen? What?" I could deal with that, though, but I didn't like the cheating (and it looked like they were setting it up for more) and well, Tori Spelling's face just kind of bothered me. It was funny, but not enough to overcome its drawbacks for me.

Yes. I read books. Sometimes watch shows. Lean towards profiling things more, but sometimes forensic things as well.

I love it. I listen to a ton of podcasts. I read a lot of books as well. I sometimes watch shows but I often get bored with them.

Yep. I watch a lot of Investigation Discovery/Dateline/48 Hours, and other types of shows and channels like that. I haven't had a chance to really delve much into true crime books, but I've read a few here and there. I'd like to check out more books of that sort.

I can get caught up in it sometimes but honestly I prefer non-true crime. Part of it is I just don't find serial killers as interesting as other people do. Non-serial killer true crime is usually just tawdry and banal.

Nah. The occasional story is interesting, but for the most part, I have no interest in knowing about or being 'in' the mind of some creepy killer or merciless scammer or whatever. It's either incredibly disgusting or incredibly depressing (if the criminal had a horrible life, etc.), so - not my jam.

I am currently fighting the heartburn from hell. This weekend I want to try and make some mittens for my niece. Figure that should be an easy next project.

I'm working! Which will be somewhat stressful but not too bad. I also need to keep playing The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince, which I was enjoying even if I had to cheat once.

Reevaluate my life choices. It's 2AM and I am drunk.

Go visit my grandma, spend some time with my little sister, maybe buy a couple of books, and head back home and get ready to get back to work. I don't want my vacation to be over.

Lord of the Rings Extended marathon. I've already started Fellowship. Made it to Rivendell before I had to turn it off for my parents' news. Also have to get my oil changed tomorrow morning.

Okay, now I'm in the mood for media that attempts the Lovecraft genre. It doesn't even have to be amazing, just kind of good. Movies or tv. Even short stories written in say the past 20-30 years (and that don't have the uncomfortable racism of Lovecraft).
