Huh. Alright, I guess I just imagined a much bigger mess re:butter on popcorn. Though I still wonder: does the popcorn stay crunchy or does it get soft when you add butter?

Does it count if I ship Anne of Cleves/happiness? Because her engagement and marriage to Henry VIII sounded like an awful disaster but she escaped a beheading and by all accounts had a pretty happy life as a single woman.

What about teens drawing and writing about themselves or other teens having sex, though?

Also, although I was never into teens even when I was a teen, instead of having 18 be the age of consent that’s most commonly seen as evil to go under, I think it should be 16 across the board. But then, I also think 16 year olds should be able to vote and maybe even drink so long as it’s not hard liquor, but I’m thinking more in the “glass of wine with dinner/one beer at a party” sense.

And I personally hate alcohol, am a virgin old enough to have teen children, and would never sleep with a teen because from where I’m standing they’re, well, babies, and anyone out of their teens who still wants to sleep with one is at the very least a creep, if not a predator.

I dunno, I think giving older teens more of the, I guess “perks” of adulthood would maybe lessen the pressure on them to act and dress older so young.

But I’d also like to see a cultural shift to adults (and not just concerned parents or relatives or whatever) telling other adults who are sexually interested in teens* that it’s not normal or hot, it’s disgusting. I’d much rather stuff like countdown clocks for celebrity kids and glamour shots of teens at award shows stop being a thing before written or drawn porn of teens gets banned, because I remember being a teen and fantasizing about relationships with older guys was definitely something I did. But countdown clocks and sexy photos of teens are catering entirely to adults who think RL teens are sexy in a way written and drawn porn aren’t necessarily.

*written and drawn porn of pre-pubescent kids is a whole other thing that I don’t think should be posted online, but I guess if someone’s actually working through traumatic shit, and they don’t share it anywhere, it’s not a huge deal, even if it personally creeps me the hell out.

It stays crunchy. They don't add much fake butter on there.

probably going to get yelled at for this but I can't get into anime at all for many reasons but one of the main ones is I have a MASSIVE uncanny valley reaction to the big eye little mouth look.

Single portion sized oven/dishwasher/freezer/microwave safe dishes with lids. I was skeptical and I thought I would break them pretty quickly going from hot food to cold freezer (fridge first!) or freezer to microwave (fridge overnight!), but I haven't broken any yet. Okay one. It was soapy and I dropped it.

I can make six serves of lasagne at once and freeze 4, put one in the fridge for tomorrow, and eat one for dinner tonight. I use the baby food portion size ones for freezing sauces. I don't like to cook every day and this is so much easier.

I keep trying to train myself out of wearing shoes in the house (or good shoes to garden, sigh) and have never managed it. I grew up with a yard that was 95% concrete and only moved to a place with actual dirt in my teens, and up into my 20s we had a wooden deck in the back yard and a concrete front stoop, so dirt in the house was never a huge problem.

I know most people who take their shoes off inside grew up doing it, but aside from putting mats outside and just inside the door(s) and keeping my shoes on them, does anyone have any tips for someone who’d like to stop tracking dirt in my house?

It's the excited yelling thing for me. I don't know if I'm describing it well but the dialogue and reactions to everything is very over the top and it gets annoying quickly.

Yeah, I really liked it. B'Elanna could have done better, but they were both reasonably well-developed characters and she didn't suddenly become The Love Interest or lose her edge, which is what turns me off most m/f ships.

I don't watch anime but if that's typical then that makes sense... someone was complaining about how some of the people voicing characters in Castlevania weren't proper voice actors and not doing it properly or something and I was like... they sound fine? Were people expecting them to DELIVER!! ALL THEIR LINES?? LIKE THIS??!!!

Not children and women

Put slippers by the door and swap as soon as you get in.

Hey I'm op from a couple of days ago and I think you're referencing me. In regards to that, my main complaint in regards to that secret is not what you said, but that there's at least one troll who uses racism/sexism/antisemitism, and that there's at least one person who really just wants to argue angrily to make themselves feel better. They may or may not be the same person. And that surprisingly enough my Tumblr experience is better than my F!S experience. That was what my secret was about.

I usually take them off in winter when I would track in snow, but not so much in summer. Also, in summer I wear sandals and my feet can get dirty even in sandals, so I take my shoes off and I'm still tracking in dirt until I can get to the bathroom to wash off my feet. Also, sometimes it's just not convenient to take my shoes off right away, so I don't. My floors are highly cleanable and I don't see what's so bad about just cleaning the floor. They will accumulate dust and spills in the kitchen and so forth, anyway. You can't keep your feet clean through taking your shoes off alone.

No, that wasn't my issue with the voice acting on Castlevania (and I explained it back then already). In fact, I think the BIG EMOTIONS type of voice acting that's the common style in Japanese dubs usually doesn't work in English dubs, and it's usually pretty terrible when voice actors try to emulate that style.
But the thing with Castlevania was that a lot of the lines were seriously slurred. And voice acting with slurred lines sounds sloppy and unprofessional, mostly because realistic talking usually clashes with the stylisation of animation.

Point out where it says women and children.
