111 ... uh... I haven't read the books in ages, and not since the third book but... Holly's an adult, right? not to mention an officer of the lae. and Artemis is like...he was 12 in the first book? And while mature for his age in the "I can take care of myself" sort of way, he's still a kid mentally. So... no. If that becomes canon I'm going to have issues, unless of course it happens when Artemis is an adult, and then I will have less issues.

140. I always liked Hardwicke's Watson so much better than Burke's. Burke always overplays Watson as a complete moron, which just feels so very wrong for the character. Watson is a well-travelled soldier, a very successful practicing physician, and a published author. The stories mention him attending conferences and suchlike -- he has the highest education available to people in his day. That's WHY he can keep up with Sherlock. He's not stupid. He's an incredibly broadminded and observant individual with many skills and a great deal of knowledge and skills lacked by Sherlock himself. The whole point is that he's pretty much as close to Sherlock's level as it's possible for a normal person to get. The way Burke plays him as kind of stupid and bumbling just annoys me.

Also, I think Hardwicke is also way cuter. ;3 He's FLUFFY.

....aside from that geekery, though, I also people slashing Holmes and Watson as a romantic couple. -.- I know jack-all about the new movie but Holmes having a romantic interest makes me go D:!!!!!!!!!
