I love both of them and their humor and think it would be entertaining to watch them make each other laugh, even though I think the Game Grumps are more lewd.

I'm so sorry. I'm sure she had the best possible life with you to love and care for her. <3

Being the most popular =/= being the best. In the fandom, being the most popular usually comes down to how often you update, interaction with your readers, genre of fic, and absolutely which pairings you write and how much smut there is.

"My fandom is all doing fanfic wrong!" That's really all you needed to put. I totally get being annoyed at not fitting in with your fandom but I think it's kinda shitty to say the problem is a BNF author instead of admitting to yourself you're the odd one out.

Being home from work with a heavy cold. Since I'm a teacher, this means having to write up detailed plans for the substitutes I might hope for will have to do, and correcting the work my students hand in online. Fun times.

I feel you, OP. I need to have some music or a YouTube video playing while I do chores doing the day, or my thoughts overwhelm me

What are you looking forward to the most this Thanksgiving? What do you look forward to the least?

OP Thank You!

Thank you for making my comment into a secret

Sometimes I just want to read a fic where nothing really happens except that my ship ends up together. I've read some nice ones and some bad ones, but my enjoyment of them depends on the quality of the writing and if the content of the fic hits all my buttons. And if it's got boring smut, I just skip it.

(Anonymous) 2019-11-26 12:43 am (UTC)(link)
I like those too and I definitely agree with you.

(Anonymous) 2019-11-26 12:45 am (UTC)(link)
Which you have no proof of at all. BNFs can be shitty writers. And people.

I went to the Apple store to get my iPad unlocked after I forget my passcode. I would have taken care of it myself, but my computer refused to recognize the tablet when I tried plugging it in.

Oh, I get you, OP. For me, it's that my thoughts get really intrusive and I start to panic about things that I really shouldn't panic about, then I end up not doing anything useful. Podcasts, music, and the TV all help with that when I'm at home, but when I'm driving, I can only have music on. Podcasts just don't work at drowning out my thoughts when I'm driving.

Don't know where this is from, but I like the art.

Most: stuffing.
Least: leftovers.

Obviously you know your relationship with your friend best, but I don't think you should be scared. I have one IRL fandom friend who can't stand yaoi while I'm fujo trash. I still talk about my m/m ships with her and she humors me even though she's not a yaoi fan. I can't stand My Hero Academia, but I still listen to her talk about the show and theories she has and her ships on it.

Are there words missing? I don't understand.

I look forward to the ham. I love ham and it's basically the only time of year I eat it. I also love the time off from work and hanging out with my family. I'm not looking forward to all the drama that's gonna crop up because some of my cousins have decided not to spend Thanksgiving with their families.

Most: seeing my brother
Least: seeing my parents

Are the leftovers of the "nobody really likes this stuff in the first place, but every year someone makes it too much" variety?

(Anonymous) 2019-11-26 12:58 am (UTC)(link)
I mean, taste is subjective, and maybe I wouldn't agree with them about this author or maybe I would. But it's perfectly fine to be of the opinion that a particular person's writing isn't that good.

And OP gives specific points of criticism. They're not just showing up here saying, "Everybody else is wrong to like this author and I'm right to not like them. Bah."

I have a group project due today. I hate them so much. I did all my work and citations and emailed them last Monday to the person in charge of putting the slides together, but I just checked the slides and he hasn't put anything up. All he had to do was copy and paste it. That's literally his only job. I'm just a little irritated about that.

You don’t have to apologize, and I’m sorry. Losing a pet is always awful, but I’m glad your bunny had someone who loved them so much.
